    Hi Ageing Biker,

I have been smoking for 21 years Started when I was 16, now almost 37!!!
As the years go by I am smoking more and more, was up to 20 a day!!!

There are a few reason's to give up, first I promised my kids I would stop before I hit 40, My dad had a heart attack 4 years ago and I think that they think it will happen to me also to save money i can see I am just wasting it by smoking.

Today I feel tired and it's hard to exlpain but my whole body seems to hurt!! if that makes sense.

  • morniing,
ali am I right in thinking wed will be your first day of the 1mg tabs, if so that will be day 8, I found I was taking deeper and deeper draws, searching for the hit you know that little kick at the back of the throat and no matter how hard you drag on the cig you just cant get it so you think whats the point, hope you can make sense of this

Yep, Wed will be day 8. Makes complete sense - already not getting the 'hit' from them and in turn as smoking less often, noticing how awful they taste and how rough they are on my throat!

Seem to be playing a game with myself today..knowing I can have one, but not really wanting one, but being tempted a bit. Really strange. Did you find that?
