    Hi everyone,

Just popped back to see how you are all doing and there are so many new names:T Whatever happened to BrickinIt??? Keep at it everyone, you know it makes sense!

I still miss them when having a drink - booze I mean, not every drink I have during the day. I still have my little tin of rollies that I made on Boxing Day and occasionally open it up for a sniff - just love that smell:rotfl: Shouldn't think they would be worth lighting now, but they still smell nice.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

Day 3 of Champix and OMG I've smoked half what I was smoking before I started on it :j . No feeling sick or dizzy today, though cigs are tasting disgusting and I'm going up to 3 hours inbetween having one. I really hope to be naturally down to just a few by my quit day (haven't decided date yet, will see how things shape up over the weekend).

Everyone is doing so well - I'm determined to join you all as a non-smoker very soon :D

    Hey, young newbie here.

Kinda stumbled on thise board while looking for money saving tips (I'm a final year student, tired of being poor plus my over draft stops being free soon)

Started on page 1, got to page 80 and gave up reading. But let me tell you, when I started reading the thread giving up smoking was actually the last thing on my mind, but I decided to give it a go soon. I buy my cigs in 100s, so I still have about 50 left.

What I did do was go out and buy mini filters to put on the end of the last 50 and cut down the harm they do to me, maybe half wean myself off the nicotine before I start.

    Vital statistics:
    Name: Dee
    Age: 20 (21 on monday)
Number of cigs a day: 20-25
    Started: At 17

So by my calculations I should run out of cigs on my birthday, oh well, get to start a year without smoking.

    Ta-ra

Well I had my major night out last weekend because I was on holiday from work, I am planning to go out for a meal on my birthday, something quite understated and grown up.

Well done! Longest I've ever last is 8 days, though I did quit on/off for about 6 months, where I would go a few days, buy a pack, smoke it, stop again for a few days. Kinda looking forward to quitting, that's a new one, maybe it means this is it.

Ick, just had my morning cough fit, should not be having these at the tender age of 20/21 as soon as I quit, I'm down at the doctors about this and the wheeze I've had for a while. I had brochintis over the new year, maybe it went chronic from acute.
