Oh tell me about it, went outside for lunch... Glorious sunshine (really wanted a ciggie to but luckily I dont know anyone else at work that smokes lol) and would love to be at home, in the garden with the misses and kids.

I too am outing myself. As of tomorrow I will be a non-smoker or as Oprah put it "breathing free". I will not be crabby or crave a cigarette instead I will be calm and serene and will count in my head all the money I will have extra in my bank account!

My Paul McKenna Quit Smoking CD will be on repeat constantly.

Wonder can we get an unofficial MSE country wide strike going! Knowing my luck it'll start peeing down as soon as I close the door behind me lol

Yay FiBe, you've made a great choiced, hopefully you'll have no troubles, if you get a chance could you let me know what the Paul McKenna CD's like, I was thinking of going down that route myself but the only hypnotist I've ever seem was in Morecambe about *ahem*teen*ahem* years ago and he was truly awful, didn't put anyone under in the whole audience and was booed out of the place but I've always thought I'd be easily manipulated/hynotised.

Nowt to do with me MFD, it's the fantastic people that keep the thread alive and give so much support to others in the same situation. The great thing about having oldies on here when the newbies turn up is that there is a wealth of experience to give out. It's nice for them to come on here and speak to you all and know that what they are going through is normal and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

So really I think I should thank all of you, past and present, for keeping the support going and being so caring and friendly :)

I want to echo MFD's sentiments, over a year has passed since you started this monster thread and you're still here giving advice, support and kind words to those who need them most. You're a star Jo, but so is everyone else, all very helpful and I for one am very happy to say thanks to you all publicly :grouphug:

I'm off home folks, have a lovely smoke free night, pass a smoker on your way home and smell them and give thanks you don't smell like that!
  • Just a quickie - I am on day 30 today...I gave up on 16th March...when do I celebrate my first month???

I know I am being a bit stoopid but I can't decide in my head if it is Tuesday or Wednesday!!
