Think the old Champix is starting to mess with my dreams!

nope. I used to get those on several quit attempts, none of them using champix.

Well, I've decided to try to give up the ciggies to. I realise I smoke far to much and for no reason. Waste of money, it stinks to be honest and on the odd ciggie I don't even enjoy it (though most I'm just indifferent to as it's a habbit).

I think I'll invest in some lollies or chewing gum though ;)

And reading through part of this thread (far to much to read all the way through at work hehe) has definately given me some inspiration so thankyou.

A great decision to have made for some great reasons as well, one of the 'older' heads will be along shortly with some advice from their perspective but I would just advise taking it easy and if something works for you stick it it.

In my first few days I enjoyed telling myself that I'll not smoke this 15 minutes, this hour etc.

Finding something to do with your hands to break the habit can also be difficult but I found composing a text message which I didn't send helped me through cravings.

Hopefully you'll gain confidence the longer you're without them and that confidence in turn breeds confidence which will help your will power.
