over the past 5 years has never had to rush to the loo during the interval or rush to get a drink cos she's had to fit a fag in too. She's also noticed when sitting on the underground she's constantly aware that she's in an enclosed space and counts the time down to be up on the street so she can light up. It's just amazing that all the things we 'actually have to do' is fit around having a fag instead of the other way round :rotfl:

We went outside the theatre during the interval so she could have a fag and oh my god as soon as you got to the theatre doors there was like a smokey haze coming through the doors and the smell was overpowering, there must've been about 40 people huddled round the door smoking!

It's crazy, I used to work in a call centre and our ten minute breaks were strictly regulated/timed, so you had a choice of toilet/coffee/smoke, it was shocking the amount of people who chose the third option and just went straight back in after horsing two smokes in!

It does feel good though to have to push through the smokers to get into premises and get that waft and thinking to yourself that you don't smell like that anymore.

Have a good day all, I'm off to pretend to do some work

Are you my own personal stalker???

You know very well that the people on this thread will make up their own mind about what you usually do... ;)

doltage - my night in is on my own :D I don't often get time just for myself and I LOVE it when I do :T

I might be off on a girly night with a friend who smokes on Saturday but she has promised that she will be good and not smoke too much...she's a rolly smoker anyway so no temptation for me there!

feedum - I am so proud of you - ciggies on the table etc. Do you think your hubby might have clicked yet?

Jo - I haven't been to the theatre since I quit but I can't wait to have time to go to the loo and have a glass of wine without having to rush both!
