Hi all. Been reading a few threads and it is very entertaining reading! Was advised to nip over here by Waspeze (thank you Waspeze) from the BR site. Been smoking 23 years, stopped 3 times when preggers, started again after, average about 12 a day. On Champix and i think it's working. ON day 9 now and down to 2-4 a day. Just had first of today and feel a bit sick now. Is that the drug? Does anyone else on it feel a bit like "oh, time for a fag" but then for some reason you don't go have one? Really hard to explain. Anyway, nice to meet you all and here's to hoping I can become one of you after Saturday (I planned saturday cos going down to mum's with kids and don't normally smoke much there anyway, could back fire as stress of staying with her!).

Definitely felt/feel that way about ciggies .. all the times i'd normally have one, immediately the thought pops into my head but within a few seconds its forgotten about as i'm doing something else! Getting less now though.. quite often think oooh good I havent thought about a ciggie.. OOOPS I just have :D
I've completely changed my routine at work coz of this!

Anyway, welcome JMC and good luck for saturday... just remember you'll have good days and bad days!!

Hi everyone, I reached day 15 last night, woo hoo and I am not really thinking about smoking as much which is good. I am finding I have so much more money as I am not pooping to the shops for cigs and also buying a magazine, some choc etc. I find I dont really have anything to spend my money on now. So at the end of the month all the extra is going towards paying off my debts. Hope everyone else is doind good. x

I'd like to think not ;)sorry for being a typo nerd, I know how annoying it can be but I just can't stop myself at times!

Had another smoke free day yesterday and aiming for the same again today!

Day 10's not going too bad so far. I've noticed that waiting for the bus I usually get a craving with very little to take my mind off it so I've now decided to leave the house a little later and leave work a little later (unpaid unforunately) but it's causing some problems cos I almost missed my bus to work this morning!

Hope everyone has a good day!
