Why not take a piccie of your little sister along? everytime you feel you want a ciggie.. take it out and remember how proud of you she was!!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
LMTP - a few tips for not smoking whilst out...
- when you first get there, or at least early on in the night, sit next to a smoker when they come in from having a cigarette _pale_ remind yourself that you don't want to smell like that.
- if you feel like you are missing out on the 'gossip' that you used to have with your smoking buddies go and stand outside with the smokers - this way you get the good bit but not the bad!
- Make sure you tell all your friends about giving up - not just 'oh I have given up' but how hard it has been and how proud of yourself you are - it feels SO good to say all this
- Try not to drink too much - the more you drink the more it seems like a good idea to have 'just the one'

Hey, if it works don't knock it
Seriously though, I just remembered how touched I was by that story and if it had that effect on a complete stranger it might be a good idea?
I'll just be telling my friends to keep me on a short leash tomorrow night:(:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

When the clocks went forward MSE went backwards
if you goto the user cp bit above, then edit options i think, near the bottom you can change which time zone your in!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
got to agree with you there LMTP- I often find the smell of the smoke itself very tempting. Then I go stand close to a smoker and smell him/her. Not so tempting after all. If you want to get really put off then have a conversation with a smoker just after they've had one and stand close. It's not pleasant. :eek:0
