Thanks ...weirdness is a good thing..like that..I know it will get better.Guess I better have my breakfast the go out and get some bits done..have a good day everyone.
  • Day 6 and I feel so much better this morning. Slept better last night so that's helped. Have made a to do list today so I have something else to focus on instead of wandering aimlessly and not settling to anything like yesterday.

It really helped reading the posts on here yesterday, thanks to you all. Living alone and not going out to work it's all to easy to think it's just me that finds this difficult so it really does help.

I remember One day at a Time, showing my age now. Now I've started thinking about it can't get it out of my head, always was one of those annoying little tunes but still while this is replaying in my head over and over and over........ I'm not thinking about anything else.

SORRY peachblossom - if it is any help, I have it stuck in my head too - it can't be showing your age because it was me that mentioned it ;) and it was number 1 the week of my 3rd birthday!

I always think with songs that get stuck there are 2 ways to let go of them:
    1. Sing them all the way through to the end - this one only works if you know all the words - which I am hoping that NOBODY does
    2. Get another song in your head to take it's place (hopefully one that is not so annoying :p )
So my friends, the floor is open for your 'giving up smoking' anthems - how about:

    You'll never walk alone
    or
    My Way
