The Giving Up Smoking Thread!!

Please can I join here?....I am a 40 a day smoker and really want to give up(again)...I have some patches in the drawer to start me off.
I am going to give up from tomorrow morning and am feeling nervous just thinking about it!!!!
I would read this thread from the beginning but there are 1000s of posts so don't know where to start.
Well done to everyone that has given up so far ..you are real stars.

There are loads of us then from the North west...Thanks for all the luck....I will have to try and read through the thread to see how long you have all quit for...did any of you feel nervous about quitting? and what methods have you used to quit?

Been to Blackpool once. Guess what for. Thats right a Stag do. Really good though. That geezer playing the organ in the tower ballroom was spot on with his rendition of "Love is in the air". Worst toilets I have ever had the displeasure of though and I have been to some concerts and had to use the Thunder boxes :rotfl:
