My husband gave up 16 years ago and I kept smoking, but if it had been the other way around absolutely no chance, I wouldn't have been able to sit there watching him smoke - would have lasted about 5 minutes:eek:
So I suppose it was easier for me to give up now as I am not around any smokers at all (still want one with a drink though.... but don't tell anyone on here!)Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Hiya  - guess I should expand
It's the end of the Neil Casey book that you will get the benefit - then you won't need rational thinking.
I am at last nearing the end of the Allen Carr book (thank goodness), but what is this Neil Casey book you are all talking about??? The Allen Carr hasn't really done anything for me - except perhaps make me want to start again:rotfl:Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Thanks for the support everyone, as i said this isnt my first time but am thinking that it will be the last time i ever quit so to keep going cant be bad

You keep bloody saying that, if someone turned up on this thread having stated they'd set-up a fags and mags shop you'd say that. You just come on here for a natter with Lurkio, go on admit it.Hello i'm BrickingIt.

Last smoke - 01/11/2007
I've stopped counting how many days it is - also I stopped thinking about the money I'd saved as well. My main aim was to stop thinking about smoking altogether, so far its working.
round about 120 days i reckon so far, on 15 a day would be a saving of around 450ish i guess0 -
Total opposite to you Steve - my focus is the the money I've saved (not - lol ) £1,014.13 and also my biggest motivator not to start again!
One question ... how did I ever afford it???I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0
