Suppose if I'm out I wont have another slip like yesterday.

Tesco would be more fun than a freezing high street :)
  • Hi all
Sooo busy - just a flying visit! Really wanting a ciggie today - what is wrong with me - grrrrrr!!! Hi fellow quitters how you all doing??

Hi TNG hope shopping went well - don't mind the supermarket but hate putting it all away. Hate it even more when I've spent a fortune, its all put away and then I can't find anything for tea !!

Hi Adz hope you've found a coat, I have a job getting coats for my boys too, although thats more to do with me being tight and not prepared to spend a fortune :rotfl: :rotfl: ! Whats with the slip up??? How many and why???? Glad its just a slip up though!!

Jo so jealous of your night out, I'd feel so out of place somewhere like that!! What are the interviews for - you can't just drop that in and not give us all the info - thats torture!!! Good luck though!

Hi to anyone else out there contemplating a quit - jump aboard and go for it -really what have you got to loose?????

Take care all - love and hugs

    Hey IDA :)

Didnt go because my mum threw a paddy at my dad!
    Bit touchy feely here!

The slip up was 1, but really enjoyed it.
It was a 1/2 strength though, so 2 minutes later I needed another :D
    Didn't have one though

    Morning all,

Adz, bad news about the slip up, just forget about it and move on hun, hope you had a good weekend :)

TNG, the other job I'm going for is working in a planning department in my local council, more my forte as I already work for an architects but, don't get school holidays off but, it's 7k more and, it's only 3 miles away and a 20 minute drive (7 minute drive when the schools are off :D).

So if the interviews go well today I will be having serious dilemma's this evening, I've already warned DH about this and he said he's looking forward to it as he knows how much I love to discuss the pros and cons of stuff

IDA, get those smoking thoughts out of your head!!!!

Right, better go get my kids ready, I've only got 2 hours to go till interview no. 1

    Speak later :)

    Thanks hun :)

Just got back from interview no. 1, went okay, really want the job but don't think I can afford to accept it if it was offered :(

They said they are going to make a decision before the end of the day, but I've got another one to go to at 2pm and I doubt a council job will give the decision the same day, probably knowing what they're like it'll be 2nd and 3rd interviews

I told that I had another interview and so she asked me if I was successful and they offered the job would I accept and if I was offered the other one which would I take  I thought that was a little unfair (didn't say so) and said that until I've had the interview I couldn't give a 100% answer but yes I am definately very interested (although I doubt I could afford it :()

It was and you should have said so!!!! If they ask that this avvo, tell em straight that that's an unfair question and you have no idea which you would pick until you saw the full T&C of both offers (it gets you off the hook ;)).

One trick I learned was to pause before you give any answer, even if you know what you are going to say. Looks as if you are giving the question due thought and can buy you some time if you don't know what to say :D

    Trying to help  :D

    Hi Guys and Gals

Well the weekend is over - how did everyone get on with the non smoking!!.
I was wondering if anybody had any idea of the cheapest place to buy patches at the mo, as I am running out and don't want to be without.
