    - ty for the Ed update - am so very pleased; hope his progress continues apace.

Couple of froglets dealt with - my vanity mirror has been screwed tight - upright had come loose; realised I could 'pop' cover off base so screwed that back up. DS also has one and lost a 'swivel' screw some time back (an Ikea one) - bought him his because he kept 'borrowing' mine and then I would have to go a-hunting. Anyway rootled in my toolbox and found a suitably-sized screw so his is no longer lop sided.

  • I definitely need to join this thread! Not just because of the pegs (when I can bring myself to use the whirlygig despite the spiders, I match pegs by colour, but not to the items; I have a black set and a blue/yellow/green pastel set...).

Yesterday came to nothing in the end; I got my basic daily stuff done, but between ferrying my husband around between garage/station/garage again, going to Costco, walking the dog, and trying to work from home inbetween times, all my good intentions re the kitchen evaporated.

I will have to clean the floors today though, as the dog very kindly threw up on the dining room rug just as I was leaving for the office this morning!

Otherwise, my list for the day is dust and hoover the living room so that I'm not too ashamed to let the babysitter in this evening.

    Great news about Ed :T

Just looking in while I declutter a hot cross bun to keep me going. The upstairs is tidy (including DH's cupboard) and the old curtains in our bedroom are down at last and just need to be hoovered before I hide them in a suitcase. After the room is cleaned, our new curtains will go up at last. It's only taken me 3 years to get them finished :D

I have removed DH's 3-foot-high cuddly St Bernard from the DGC's room and put him in a big box in the garage. I don't think he'd look good on the house agent's photos :rotfl:

Will try to pop back in later, but must get on with window cleaning while the sun is shining

Kazmeister, next time you're coming over, PM me and we'll arrange to meet up. Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be manic here, with DH at home doing odd jobs (that means one or 2 to my 10) and the need to get everything ready for estate agents' visits on Thursday and Friday, but after that I will relax.

(((Hugs))) and spoons to all in need.

*Rushes off to do a HHC in the spare bedrooms*
    Anyone coming with me?

Well, I actually wrote that last post an hour ago but forgot to click on "Submit Reply" :o DOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Have done nearly an hour of tidying DH's desk and putting things away into suitcases, also cleaned windows in 2 rooms. Going up and down the stepladder is not good for my knees, and I ache already :( but I must plod on. Vacuuming and bedmaking next.

Off I go for another HHC...
