Just been writing term dates on the calendar for primary and realised that I don't need to put the new dates in for September as my primary days will be over after 14 years!
To the shower for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Ed update: It was a year in January that Ed had his accident and I'm sure you will all remember those dark days when you so kindly sent out love to a family you had never met. Well you helped ladies, Ed has been discharged from hospital and the best bit, he walked out. There is still a road to travel but his progress has been fantastic and I thank you all for the wishes you sent.
that is such fantastic news, thank you so much for sharing Dusty.

Morning all. Just popping in to say thankyou for the Ed update and to jump into the peg debate. Mine are mixed and on the line at all times, but I am OCD about hanging items, tops to be pegged from the bottom and trousers to be pegged from the waist, and only one side (ie no seams pegged together) so that the wind can get in the garment and flap about. Yes I know, bonkers.
I had a bit of a lie in this morning, so I've only managed the dailies today. Off to paid stuff now.
Have a great day everyone. Looks nice enough to get some peg practise in!Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning
Nothing like a post by Skint to make me feel like a right lazy mare!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Soooooo, off I will shuffle out of this lovely toasty bed and go and put the WM on. Not sure if I'll get it out as it's very frosty here this morning. In work at 10 until 1 then a meeting at 1.30. Will report back later.
Off I go - HHC if anyone wants to join me?

It's a strange feeling isn't it? I still put school dates on the calendar, but only because I work in one and DD2 works in 2! it felt very good not to be putting the secondary school dates on the calendar this year - DD2 is loving not being in school....
Thanks for the Ed update - glad to hear he's out of hosp and under his own steam....
It's cold and foggy here at yorkietowers. I manged my 2 mile walk, but I went base over apex on my road coming back! Still, I'm in better shape than my mate who broke her foot - she's done the worst thing possible and it may be 3 months before she's back at work!!!!!! Whilst this is bad news for her it means that DD2 will get some regular supply work as an MSA - that means some regular money to top up her wage from the after school club!
Second washload on - suspect it will be on rads today not on my new rotary drier!:(:(
Plan is that I am going to Leeds with DD2 - I feel a trip to Primani coming on...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Will also need to email one of my union colleagues as I now dont have access to all the information I will need for tomorrows meeting in ionafans neck of the woods.
