Itstayed dry!! So got one load of washing out and dried. Looking ok for tomorrow so hoping for arepeat performance. Was supposed to begoing to meeting in Lerwick tonight but lift couldn’t make it and wasn’t ableto scooter it down to ferry and do the lifting thing with the wheelchair, slight lack of spoons. Bonus was it did meanthat I had more time for flying than I thought.

Elasticarrived today so I can make elastic loops to stop my mattress topper from goingall over the bed. I bought a sewingmachine so this will be the first job I will do. It’s been years since I’ve used one so willneed a few practice runs before going for it.

Maisy M – Hope that you are feeling loads better now

DanceMum – Hope DS1 has a better days skiing tomorrow andless trying to scare you! On the pegsquestion, I live in Shetland I’m just glad to get all the pegs in that I putout with the wind up here ;) . All mypegs are the tornado/storm kind, not really much point in buying anything else up here, although you do need to use gloves on cold days.

LouLouCake – Glad I’m not the only one with a love of dryingoutside. Parks are great fun, glad theweather held.

Narc0lepsy – Sounds like it was a better weekend thananticipated.

GailM – Very valid moan, I did OH’s washing the other weekat his only to find out there wasn’t enough pegs. It feels like a bit of a waste when it’s anice day and you can’t get the washing out. Tell your brother he owes you pegs ;)

LameWolf – I’d say better to have a couple of days R&Rso you are fully rested than knocking yourself flat out.

TMD – Ooh that’s three of us that find pleasure in gettingthe washing out, that’s almost starting a club

Natty – hope this week is a huge amount better than last

WendyWitch - Oohgarden incinerator. OH looking atgetting one for his garden but not sure if worth it or not

      Bonnie_Bumpkin – Ok that’s four folk now I officially callit a club

Kazmeister – Boooo to the cold. Hope you feel much better very soon

BossyMoo – Glad DD is feeling a bit better and hope she getsa good nights sleep, very cheeky smile in that pic. I’ve a nephew with a very similar smileusually pulled in the hope that he might get away with things for being cute.

So late in posting tonight but I have been on a mission in the kitchen(like a woman possessed lol)
I dismantled the cooker hood removing the grease filters (all metal type) and they were yucky:o
I soaked them and scrubbed them and eventually put them in DW - looking like new and I can feel the fan drawing the air through so well. It is a job I always put off but so worth it. Bed now as I am shattered.

:p What did i start with talk of lost pegs?

Between them going missing and and another annoyance I never did kitchen. But when sat down felt guilty so did my shredding and cleared the downstairs lobby which means headstart on Tuesdays, yeah!

Also have 4 boxes of stuff was never sure what to do with, well had 4 as am pleased to say only 3 left.

Did get side tracked with an old 1941 newpaper in the box, back then there was a letter to the editor complaining about children not being made to give up seats on bus for older passengers. Made me laugh as my local paper does not let a week go by without the same complaint in the letters column.
70 plus years and we brits can still moan about the same things.

      Happy flying everyone.
      Gail.

Keep an eye on the posts Gail you'll soon see. Some people have a real thing about their pegs.
When they hang something out both pegs (if only 2 are used) have to be the same style and/or the same colour. People are sometimes a little OCD about them :)
I personally have 2 different styles, heavy duty (that are blue) for jeans etc and normal ones in a mix of colours and I don't care which colour goes with which  :rotfl:
I would like to add there are other things in my home that I am very picky / OCD about and it's bound to come up at some point :D
