    Good afternoon xx

I made tomorrows dinner (curry using leftover chicken), OH made an extra dinner for today so that's him sorted and DD had pizza and chips (a treat as she has a friend over), so food is all sorted, I just need to do the dishes now!!!

Kiychen still looks good as I tidied as I went along. The rest of the downstairs looks good too :)
I s+s'd the bathroom earlier too.

WM on and keeping fingers crossed it keeps dry so I can get it hung outside, sad but it's one of my pleasures in life drying washing outside.

You are not alone :p Re pegs, I have 3 sets, all slightly different - which I'm fine with - as long as the pegs match for each item I hang out. I do also hang each person's clothes on separate sections of the whirlygig; I don't like 'mixed' hanging :o

  • I agree about the wooden pegs Honey Bear :)

Now this may be controversial but... I keep my pegs on the line The line is always put down after use and covered with a large green condom-type cover.

Now [STRIKE]aren't I[/STRIKE] isn't it odd that I don't mind spare pegs just hanging there in no particular order but they must match when doing their duty

First thing I did when I got in from work was clean the kitchen floor with the steam mop given to me by my work colleague. I couldn't wait to try it out :D

I don't have a dining room, not even a kitchen table so those bits will be easy :rotfl:

Going to make tea now (chicken and slimming world chips) and make dinner for work tomorrow for me and SIL (tuna pasta).

Will see what else I can do before I fall asleep.

  • Evening all,

Fresh air at the park followed by nearly 2 hours in the pool, a tea of HM curried parsnip soup and rolls, and I now have two tired 11 yr old girls in their pjs watching Kung Fu Panda 2 and eating choc chip cookies; they look so much younger in their pjs and very sweet too :)

No studying done today and I might not get much done this week. As long as I get straight back into it next week I'll be happy, I just need to make sure that I do!!!

Swimming stuff in DW and house generally straight. I just need to give the kitchen a tidy round now we've all eaten then I'm hoping for an early(ish) night for us all; that fresh air and a swim have done me in too ;) I can't remember who said about "putting the house to bed" but I love this phrase and tell myself it's time to do this each evening. So, I'm off to S&S kitchen and get the house (and myself) ready for bed; anyone else want 7.45-8.15, HHC to 'get the house ready for bed?'

  • Hi there, I'm in again, and thank you both Natty and Dusty for last, and this, week's lists.

We sorted out two big wardrobes yesterday and both threw out a lot of clothes and linen for the CS and 'rag bag' that goes to weigh in for the animal shelter nearby. It took us two hours, but as the bedrooms face south it was lovely and sunny in there and the space left in the wardrobes is amazing.

Today, we tidied round, S&S bathroom and kitchen and also cleaned some work surfaces. Also got a bed throw and some cat blankets washed and dried outside, they smell lovely! And I did laugh about using matching pegs - I thought it was just me!!

Walked next door's dogs, while OH did some repair work on a couple of things, then a quick lunch, as I was at work this afternoon. I was fine there, but developed a sore hip as the day went on, and have been in pain tonight with a really bad ache in the hip and thigh, so have had some pain killers and am now resting with my feet up! Meal is nearly ready so will scoff that and maybe have a couple more pills and see how it goes.

Good wishes and healthy vibes all round, and I'll be back later.
    R x
