Turned into a bit more than a HHC, but the kitchen is looking pretty good now.

    How did you do Loulou?

I spent much longer too! DD and friend have gone to the park just around the corner from our house so no need of my taxi services :D I have swept, hoovered and dusted through the house, washing out on line and 2nd load in, DW emptied, Jacket spuds in oven for lunch :) Had a nice coffee break and now off to see what else I can get done before girls come back for lunch....
    HHC 12.05-12.35 anyone?

Talking of peg envy, do we match pegs in pairs or pegs to the colour of the clothes?

    Having a stop for lunch.

Oh don't go there again :rotfl:

Almost all my pegs are yellow; I have some wooden ones. I tend to just use my yellow pegs. All pegs pegging one item have to be the same. It's the law in Valliland.

Have cleaned my bedroom window and have removed all ornaments from sill and washed them (Aynsley china). I have come down for a damp cloth to wipe the sill (cat hairs;)) and been distractyed by candy which I cannot crush (FB).
I have also brushed the carpet to remove cat hairs and my hair which seems to stick to the carpet despite vacuuming.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

In the Wolf's Lair, we use the first pegs we lay our little paws on.:D I actually managed to peg 3 pairs of Mr LW's jeans out myself today. They're on the very lowest bit of line on the whirligig, and took me an age and a lot of bad language to get them there, but it's progress from not being able to raise my arms high enough for even that!:T

Afraid I'm just doing essentials again, as I'm still looking after Mary, til late on Wednesday.:o

After that, I have to decide whether I try and do a week's Flying in 2 days, or take 2 days "R&R" Thursday and Friday, and start again next week. Logic dictates the latter, but I fear my conscience won't allow it when it comes down to it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Quite agree Valli - pegs on one garment should be the same colour. I tend to use all the same colour til that runs out then move onto the next colour. hmmm - as I type I realise how daft that sounds!!

Loulou - sounds like you did well on your HHC too.

Anyway, washing hung out, lunch consumed and now we're off to the park. DDs 1 & 2 and their cousins play very nicely together but after a few hours indoors they reach their limit and then everyone starts to fall out, so we'll avoid that point and get some fresh air.

Plan for later is to do my HHE (30 day shred dvd), then maybe a HHI. Not sure what's for tea yet - maybe grab something from the freezer as it's just me and the girls; DH is out with work.

BIG debate on this a while ago on flylady :rotfl:I am the same as Valli, all same colour, not mismatched pegs, ie all pink, when they run out, start on next colour, Funfairprincess likes hers to be like a RAINBOW but thats just plain untidy :rotfl::rotfl:

WM on and keeping fingers crossed it keeps dry so I can get it hung outside, sad but it's one of my pleasures in life drying washing outside.

Yes, you are sad - and so am I lol :D Happy days = washing out on the line.

Pigpen - you sound full of the joys of Spring today

LameWolf - congrats on raising those arms, just take it easy though, okay?

Dusty and Natty - thanks for the lists again.

Did an hour here before I went out to work - washing out on the line, then went upstairs and cleared windows of condensation, made beds, tidied up and sorted out paperwork and collected dirty washing.

Between 10 and 12 at the paid stuff - beds stripped and remade, kitchen floor swept and mopped, hoovered all through downstairs, downstairs bathroom, kiddies bedroom.

Home now - OH has been busy tidying and cleaning downstairs and has made my lunch. Just letting it go down and will go back upstairs, hoover through and do our own bathroom.

We have visitors here at 3.30 who haven't been to this new house and I want it all spick and span - nothing like a bit of pressure to get my a$$ into gear :rotfl:

Have mentally done my meal plan for this week whilst I was driving home from work.

I like mine to be in matching pairs but I wondered about you lot all last year and thought I may have to match the garment too. It kept me entertained for a while. :) I don't actually get too many days of pegging out as I like on the very edge of a wood and next to Mr Boarded up and he has some very large trees which are encroaching in to "my sunlight". Lots of my washing ends up with tree bits & insects on but I would refer it to be blowing outside.

I have cleaned bathroom mirror tiles
    Sorted 3 hotspots
Found & have written Mothers Day cards (early)
    Cleaned the loo

I am however supposed to be choreographing
