    Good morning.

Thanks for the new list Natty. I had 11 for lunch yesterday so it was a bit manic. I did clear up as I went along, only issue is me running the taps while the boys are showering after football. Lots of banging on the wall!

Kids are on HT. DH has the week off. I'm working M, W, F.

    Jobs for week

Bake and decorate cakes for nephew's birthday on Sunday
    Conquer the ironing mountain
    Meal plan
    Clean windows
Encourage DS1 and 2 to clear the garage
Encourage DH to dismantle and dispose of the trampoline.
Finish off the roman blind I made at the class on Saturday
    Return forms for NCT sale.
Send cheque to pay for hall for DD2's party.

I'm sure this list will grow, my head is buzzing with anticipation of what I have forgotten.

Good day wishes to all of you.
  • I'm in - DD2 and I are on half term, but DD1 thinks a wire on her braces may have come loose (groan) and DS is struggling with swollen tonsils!

Still aiming to do more than I've managed recently!

Thanks to Natty for the list and Dusty for last week..
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • Thanks for the thread Natty.

Last week was at OH's Wed-Fri then was helping out at Alzheimer's fundraiser at hall Sat night. Heading out tonight for meeting in town so trying to conserve spoons. Swallowed a frog (hope that is right expression) and finally ordered new batteries for mobility scooter.

OH just left for 8:30am ferry then bussing it back down to Sandwick. WM on and keeping fingers crossed it keeps dry so I can get it hung outside, sad but it's one of my pleasures in life drying washing outside.

    Hi all

Back in again this week after a disasterous week last week. Monday was fine then downhill from there. DS2 sick on Tuesday so nothing done, took ds2 to his dad's on Wednesday so spent 6 hours at bristol airport nothing done at home, Thursday I got the lurgy which absolutely wiped me out. So nothing done Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Total waste of a week, especially when I had a lot of plans since DS1 was away. Never mind, onwards and upwards to scale the mountain of ironing!!!

    Morning all
Sun still shining here. If it is out this afternoon I'm sure it's magnetic pull will get me into the garden.

Boys have dentist this morning (chance to declutter some magazines to their surgery) so plan to have a shower and do some bits and bobs before then. Will probably need to do a food shop tomorrow and need to ring orthodentist as DS2's retainer has still not made it's presence known.

If it has gone it's done

Got a message from DS1 saying "Day 1 of skiing was awful" :(had to wait hours to find out more. He was having trouble stopping. Hopefully today will be better. Bet he wished he had had those lessons I offered him in the summer hoildays.

Off to do a HHC then decide what to do with DS2 (Half Term here)
