Bagging a bargain UK hotel from Londontown.com

Ive put the full details on my half price holidays forever site but below is the basic method for bagging a bargain via Londontown.com

Following on from the success of the easyjethotels DD price guarantee that was so successfully exploited, but has now limited benefit due to the change in t&cs.

LONDONTOWN.COM
have a price guarantee where they will match any lower rate PLUS pay you *£100* too.

This applies to any hotel booked via their website , so it isnt just restricted to London, but covers many major UK towns and cities, all searchable from the drop down menu.

WOW- they must be cheap surely, with such a guarantee ? Er, not always:j

Search your chosen dates and destination. At the same time, perform searches on hotelscomparison.com, kelkoo and travelsupermarket.
Provided the room, board basis and booking conditions are the same, find it cheaper, you have 48 hrs to put in your claim.

What makes this offer really special is there is NO OUTLAY.
Your credit card details are only required to secure the booking. You pay the hotel directly on departure.

Therefore companies to use for a comparison are often the ones not suitable for the EJH guarantee
ie

Active Hotels
Booking.com
Venere.com
Laterooms.com

Heres a typical random example I have found

INVERNESS
Thistle Hotel
25 May 2 nights DBL B+B

Londontown £202
Active Hotels £150

LondonTown will match £150 rate +Pay you £100
So your effective price is £50

Wow, Budgetflyer, I have to say your post is the most beneficial and helpful, and thanks for always sharing great offers with us, off to find something in Edinburgh in July now.

Thanks budgetflyer! I'm trying to find somewhere cheap for my family (2 adults and 3 children) near the Space Centre in the midlands either in May or July, but it's hard as most hotels only have a room for 4, so anything and everything helps!

Have you tried paying the hotel the agreed rate and getting £100 back off londontown?

    Keep up the good work!

    Fantastic post OP!!!

I've booked 2 night in the Ramada Hyde Park for only £91 in July thanks to this deal.

It was £330 on londontown - but only £191 on activehotels.

They've confirmed that they will match the rate and give me the £100 !!

one question though - I think it says on the T&C's something about one deal per household- does this mean that I can't do this again in the future??

    thanks again!!

    budget flyer, you rule :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

If the booking conditions and room are the same, they will be paying you to stay there:j

They will match the £55 AND give you £100 so you should be £45 in credit:D
