Bagging a bargain UK hotel from Londontown.com

Just want to let you know that I successfully used the Londontown moneyback offer in March. It was for the Thistle Marble Arch in London. It was on Londontown for £150 a night and on Activehotels for £140. I booked it and emailed Londontown. They said the hotel had made a mistake and loaded the wrong price onto Activehotels and that they would match the lower price and pay me the £100. When we got to the hotel they told us the rate had been lowered to £119 (they didn't give any reason!) which I was a bit worried would have an effect on the moneyback but we couldn't really do anything about it. Anyway, afterwards I got an email from Londontown to phone a freephone number with my credit card details and I got the £100 put on within two weeks. So we got a central London hotel for £19 for the night!

I would definitely recommend Londontown, although it seems it's very rare that their prices aren't the lowest so it does take a lot of searching! xxx
