For a weekend If anyone can find anything in Scotland in December.
• Hello Moneysavers,

I have just spent a good 6 hours trawling price comparison websites, trying to find a cheaper price than londontown, with no luck.

Can someone please tell me which comparison websites I should be going to?!!

I'm looking at booking a room at the Days Inn Waterloo for the 29th of this month for one night and they've quoted a official price of £51.75 whereas LondonTown is charging £52.00 for one night.

I'm confused as to how the Price Guarantee works and I was wondering if anyone can help me confirm whether I'd get the £100 or not?

EDIT: Here are some prices I've since found that are cheaper than LondonTown:
GTAhotels.com - £49.00 [£42.00 excluding VAT]
Opodo - £51.74
Travelocity.co.uk - £51.75
eBookers - £51.75
• I'm posting this because I'm slightly confused over the Price Guarantee from LondonTown.

The cheapest price that I've found so is £49.00 from GTAhotels.com but it's for a single room instead of a double which is what LondonTown are offering for £52.00.

Would LondonTown still honor the lower price if I revealed it to them even though the gtahotels one is a single room.
• Hi Folks,

LondonTown has been in contact, it's said:

"If you need any clarification on LondonTown’s money back guarantee please contact their team via Jenny@LondonTown.com"

I hope this helps,

Alana

No, they need proof its the exact same thing, so if its a double room you're booking, the cheaper price has to be a double room too otherwise they'd be shafted for £100 every time, left right and centre!

Hi Everyone,

I just want to check with you all about this hotel I have found though Londontown.com and hoteldirect.co.uk .

http://www.londontown.com/LTtemplates/php/hotelScripts/hotelInfo.php?hotelBase=LONGM&hotelName=Express by Holiday Inn London Greenwich

(you'll need to copy all of the above link as it cuts off at the name for me! :()

For a double for one night with breakfast etc through londontown.com is £84 but becomes £99 after tax.

However, at hoteldirect.co.uk:

http://www.hoteldirect.co.uk/webapp/hoteldirect/servlet/HDViewPage?currency=gbp&web=yes&purpose=hotel&hotelid=598&city=London&startdate=1266278400000&enddate=1268697600000

If you go to the date and price table at the bottom, the same date is £77 - and when booking it becomes £78 odd if booking by card.

I've checked everything I can and believe it's exactly the same!

Will I be getting the £100 cashback and the reduction to the hoteldirect.co.uk rate from londontown.com?

Am I doing anything wrong? Am I in the wrong? Have I missed something obvious?! Please let me know! Please help! I don't want to pay over the odds for this and then get told no!

Many thanks for your help and suggestions and time in advance! :T:beer:

• If you want to give me the date you're going and room type then I'll have a look and see if I can find any differences :)
