I have tried this... not sure if the cancellations are the same or not - have to cancel by 6pm the day before on London Town, one day before on the active hotels and late rooms websites. Will see if this works. If not, no harm in trying and I'll just cancel the booking anyway!

Just got an email that they will honour the guarantee and match the price on another website. £77.00 stay for one night, £23 profit! :) Couldn't ask for a better way to start the holiday! Thanks!

www.hotelpronto.com does some really cheap rates! easily beat my offer of £180 from londontown. It offered me £141 for exactly the same deal.
I've booked it through londontown, and sent the price match form off.
    Fingers crossed!

If it works, I'll be getting the room for £41!!! amazing!

Got caught out with the cancellation terms... oh well. They have offered to match the offer though, just not give me the £100.
    Not bad.

    Hi,

I've just submitted a claim - wish me luck.

It is good that even if it's rejected that you can cancel without penatly (providing it's before 2pm)

Hi could anyone who has succesfully done this, post which sites you found the cheaper prices through. I can not find any with the 'cancel on the same day by 2pm' clause?

    Hi,

I just wanted to thank the original poster for this - I just had my confirmation email for my £100

So, a weekend in London in a 4* hotel in Kensington this December is only costing me 60 quid. Awesome.

Just be careful with matching the Terms and Conditions when you do it!

(The cheaper site I used was 1800hotels).
  • Hi,

Does anyone know if the price promise is valid for 2 for 1 offers? I've managed to price up a hotel for £79 on a 2 nights for the price of one offer (a normal public offer, not a voucher code or club). The same stay is £226 on londontown.com.
