My gf has just received flowers from Arena and will be bringing them home so no idea til later whether there were 12 or 24. I have emailed asking them to confirm I am being refunded as per my cancellation at 1242 yesterday. We will see.
Hope the people that ordered chocs get them - seen at least one person on there complaining they sent the flowers but not the chocs.0 -
Arena are a complete shambles of a company. I only found out my order was not going to be delivered late yesterday afternoon - through concidentally checking MSE for any interesting news articles whilst at work. I had ordered the £19.99 option on Tuesday.
To not send an email is really bad. I ended up having to email them myself with cancel in the subject field. I did it as a 'Forward' on of their confirmation email they sent me on Tuesday.
Then believe it or not they emailed me back late last night saying they couldn't locate my order & could I confirm the delivery address etc - All they had to do was scroll down!! Order no., delivery address etc was there.
I told em to scroll down & then got another email apologizing etc about the mess up on the flower order.
The one day of the year when they should have had back-up plans in place for any eventuality, Tesco's, Asda order extra Turkey at Xmas knowing its popular.
I will never use this company again, bunch of !!!!!!.0 -

Same for me.
And I'm still awaiting ANY contact - phone, email & twitter all ignored.0 -
Still waiting, its 15th Feb 4:36 PM yet no delivery or any contact from the company.
Failed to deliver twice.. Rubbish !!0 -
Still no sign of any flowers from Arena. We are away for half term from 4pm tonight. They won't answer their phone and only recently have set up an automated reply to their email. Am I going to come back in a week to a bunch of dead flowers on my doorstep? What liability will Arena have as this gives a pretty clear message to burglars that there is no one home. No much point even in cancelling as there is nothing to suggest they will even read the message. Any ideas?
I ordered them to my wife's workplace as a surprise. I was peed off to get the email yesterday but figured these things can happen, so not too bothered.
Now she's finished work, also for half term, and they haven't arrived. School will be shut for a week... maybe she'll go in to do some work next week and find them rotting in the playground or something... nice!
So they already have my money and I want it back regardless - how do I do this?0 -

They say the delivery window is between 0800 and 1800 so still time yet. Plus their Twitter suggests that all orders despatched via courier will be delivered today even if it is after the 1800 window.0 -
There is still time but its currently 17.20 & I have heard nothing about a delivery today but I do know there is someone at the property until around 7.30pm so I will let you know if a courier does show up with the free roses as referred to in the MSE article.
I will be surprised though.
Mr Guy Anker needs to check who said 'free roses regardless' then do a follow up article advising someone at the company blatantly lied.0 -
17:30 Fri and still no sight of 24 rose bouquet instead of 12 yesterday! And yes, phone lines are down. Poor show Arena. I did get an email yesterday apologising and explaining they would arrive Friday instead. Really!!!0
