Was at least hoping to get back from work today to see a bi smile on my wife's face. Thanks for lying again ArenaNote to all
This link is an official update/communication from Arena, who you have your contract with. Nothing about sendng flowers and fully refunding. Nothing about receiving flowers and then being able to cancel them 'in the next week or so'.
Please ignore what MSE have speculated on in their article as there has never been evidence to support this and it is not the official line from Arena. Arena have made their position clear that the options were either cancelling fully beforehand or delivering late with a 50% discount. Trusting the MSE article could lead to disappointment as their statement on refunds/cancellations has never been supported by Arena comunications
Anyway how come if they're couriered, I can't just track the parcel myself? Then I wouldn't need to chase Arena as much.0 -
A bi smile? That sounds like an exciting VAlentine's night!
That's not what the official communication from Arena says, that I received by email. As far as I am concerned, their official position is what they've told me by email, not what they post on a website I don't use.

What did the email from Arena say? The one offering a full cancellation beforehand or 24 roses a day late that everyone else got? The updates they have provided since have bettered their initial offer yesterday and a discount will still be refunded to those whose flowers were a day late. It goes without saying that people would accept a better settlement than promised and even though you may not use certain sites, the subsequent 50% discount is a statement of existing fact . It is very different from MSE saying they will do xyz when they have not stated so, thus people expecting better than they would actually get.
I do not know why you cannot track it and I will not speculate on why. But it is clearly a shambles that they have not been able to fulfil their proposed solution to the problem and they will surely have to provide full refunds to those who did not receive flowers yesterday (which is an opinion from me, not a statement of existing fact)0 -
Saturday, still no flowers, maybe my missus will get them next Valentine's0

I think the problem is now that we want 100% refund, if you look on the Facebook page most people didn't get the flowers today, some peoples are really dead - so why do you want to pay 50% for a dead bunch of flowers, we wouldn't accept this anywhere else would we.
Also has anybody told Martin about this mess? Why idn't it on twitter!0 -

You don't know that 'most people didn't get the flowers today' as it is likely only those posting that didn't and you cannot quantify how many people did.
A 100% refund across the board is the only way they can salvage anything from this after failing to deliver on their compromise solution yesterday.0 -
I agree 100% refund is the only way, because we don't want them now, nobody wants dead flowers, but more so I'm going away tommorrow and won't need them.
Shall we use a chargeback or just wait though?0 -

Custardy - if you don't agree, don't post!
If I pay money, then I expect something, if I want it back then I want it
back.
I also happen to know how many days it's been, but thanks for the useful info.
Do you work Arena?0 -

Email them explaining the situation and why do you do not wish to pay, requesting a full refund. And in the meantime stop being so dramatic0 -
