Sorry lads, forgot to check in today..

Well, I had a rest day yesterday (quite literally- was asleep by 7:30)...today, however, I set out to do 3.5 miles (first time I've run in over a week) - but found it quite easy, so ended up doing 6.75 - my first run over 10k...Really quite chuffed with myself...

Tomorrow's "how many miles can we do on the bike" day again :)

  • I am just back from the gym(how sad to check on here straight away:rolleyes::D) Anyway I stepped it up today, did half an hour on cross trainer and only managed 5 mins on rower becuase I was so knacked off CT :rotfl:Then did 25 mins of weights so all my muscle groups have been hammered today, will be expecting sore limbs later but booked in tomorrow morning at 10 so I don't get tempted to drink tonight. Its my uncles 50th so I can't miss it :rolleyes:Gonna drive and be the partys taxi so at least I make an appearence and can't be moaned at and still keep motivated for my Ibiza challenge  Well done to anyone who trains over the weekends it really is the hardest part of a week for a lot of us, the beer is a calling me and I have taken so much abuse for not going out but sod em it is about me now

Right, so i'm all set for Ingleborough tomorrow, 7.5miles round trip.. 473 mtr ascent.. :undecided I do enjoy it, once i'm on my way back down  I'm not one for going uphill.. Should be fun tho.. OH and Bro-in-law will be more enthusiastic than me I bet..

Going Yoga on Thursday night aswell hopefully.. :)

It's all coming together nicely.. :) I'm getting out and about a lot more and doing so much more exercise..

My diet could do with improving a bit, but i'm not too worried, i'm just going to do my best for now, concentrate on the exercise and then gradually get the diet sorted.. If I try and do both I get in a mess..

Hope everyone else has had a nice saturday :)

  • Good luck with the bike ride I hate bikes :D
Just got back from gym and was feeling sore this morning but thought sod it and went anyway. 25 mins on treadmill and 20 mins weights a little less then yesterday but I planned to do a hard day followed by a less hard day next day(does that make sense lol?) anyway. My body is in pain that reminds me of basic training at Pirbright when it didn't matter what pain you're in you just get on with it and so that is what I am gonna do. I know when I am injured and when I am not so I have to let my muscles get used to being beasted again and train throught it
Day off tomorrow as I heading up to Aberdeen and back in a sprinter for work so long day will get back to gym on Tuesday my shoulders shouldnt be as sore then either. Hope everyone else had a productive weekend? I actually drank two lemonades in pub last night as I took the car, now that is dedication

haha - well done Glass Half Empty ;) I can see you are really getting into it! Keep up the good work, you need to buff that body up for your holiday! ;)

I've just got back from climbing Ingleborough.. shattered, got blisters all over my feet, it was rough.. weather was pretty dire, and the ground was saturated, so feet got soaked very quickly.. even though I had my waterproof boots on.. :( Anyways, all done, had some dramatic weather and clouds, so it was fun :)

    Got pretty soaked tho!

Hope you have all had a good weekend ;)
