Also was thinking about chin-ups. I know press ups can come hard to people but from what I remember about chin-ups they are kinda the epitome of damn hard work.

I used to have a house with beams in, many years ago and I could manage a few then not so sure now if I could do any.

Got nothing here to try with either...dont think OH will appreciate me trying to pull myself up on the curtain pole!:rotfl:

Do you ever see anyone at the gym doing them??

Hi, I have had one of these for many years as I used it when I trained to join the Army. I havent used it for a long time but the brackets are still in the door frame  Anyway a very cheap and easy solution to having no where to do it ;) Have seen the ones to put in the garage or garden to in mags that have there own stand but they are over £100+ so not really mse style ;)

I been gym again today even though I was aching and feel loads better for it. Gonna have tomorrow off then get back on it Sat. Have my uncles b-d party Sat  gonna aim to drive there and back so I stick to coke as I never bother with any beer now if I am driving I am a trucker by trade so can't afford to be caught even if only a couple of pints it isn't worth the risk

I try a few chin ups at the kids playground when I take my son, there's usually a climbing frame or some other suitable apparatus there :p

They are extremely tough, I'm not much good at them :o
