I just don't think I have the motivation to trapse to a gym, get changed, work out alongside other sweaty people and get self conscious about my wobbly bits
Plus, I would like to do a 10 min run in the morning, noon and then night.. I think little and often for me would be much betterBSC Member 155

What are everyone's exercise plans for the new week?
Now that I've met the first little triathlon challenge, I want to try for a sub 30 minute 5km run. My best time to date is 30 mins 55 seconds, that was on my 4th one - since then I've been concentrating on running in combination with cycling etc, so when I get back to doing the run on it's own, I think I have a good chance of setting a new best
Not setting any other targets until I've had my hospital appointment (about my probable impending operation) this week, and discussed my exercise with them0 -
I think i'm going to concentrate on cycling every day.. and skipping..
If I can get to the gym to do some running then I will, but I think 'normal' running is quite difficult at the moment..I just feel like i'm going to die!
I'm thinking if I can bring up my fitness by doing things I enjoy then I will be more inclined to stick with it..
Also swimming.. I am a good swimmer, so I really should go and do a few miles a week..
Hope it's good news on the op frontI had my gall bladder out in April - feel much better now !

Just a rather pathetic 30 mins on the wii fit to report for today, didn't feel like much else but I've done loads since Monday so not too bothered
G-G I had worked a lot on my all round fitness before taking up running, so as far as I'm concerned that's a good strategy! Glad your op went well, did it take you long to recover from that?0 -
I'm just finding running a struggle really.. I know if I did it daily I would get fitter quicker, but i'm really not enjoying it..
once i'm fitter I will get into it.. no point pushing myself to run if I don't like it..
Op went really well, I was back to normal within a week or two
I've done an almighty amount of housework today!
Washed, dried & changed bed linen
Washed & dried cushion covers in the living room
Washed & dried dog beds
Jetwashed garden & decking
Mowed lawns
Cleaned out rabbits
Hoovered House
Washed kitchen, conservatory & bathroom floors
Washing up x 10,000000 times!
Two loads of normal washing
Re-potting chilli & pepper plants...
Water change in aquarium
Window cleaning
Buried dead guinea pig and planted a daisy plant ontop
Played with 3 new guinea pigs
Tesco's
Watered & fed all plants, hanging baskets, plant boxes and veg garden..
I'm shattered! :laugh:BSC Member 155

Ive worked all this weekend and have only managed a 4 mile dog walk yesterday. Today Ive been on the Wii fit for half and hour and thats it...its still lovely outside so Imay get my running shoes on and go for a short run.

Aww sorry to hear that..It's awful isn't it.. they are just so cute!
Mine 'Hutch' (previously a pair of Starsky & Hutch) was around 5yrs old I think.. bless him.
I have 3 more now, Dave, Bradley & Napoleon...
So now I have 2 rabbits and 4 guinea piggies.. They get 24hr access to the garden tho, so plenty of room for them
I'm too tired to do anything else today, even the dogs arn't pestering me for a walk, which is nice, as I really cannot be bothered!BSC Member 155

Morning all!
Well, didn't manage 50-60 miles on Saturday, managed about 42 though, so not a complete loss...I was a little bit late leaving, so couldn't get the milage in (I may, or may not, have reversed my car over the front wheel on my bike...) - had a rest day yesterday, with just a couple of weights in the evening - doing the same today, get myself rested for footy tomorrow.
What's everyone else scheming today?0
