Wow - i'm impressed! I hope I can do something like that one day.. :)

What mountain bike have you got? Anything special?

I've been doing sit ups today, but getting back ache :undecided is that normal? or am I doing them wrong?

Also been doing scissor leg type floor exercises, which i'm finding really burn by the time I get to 10 of them.. :) Also, the same position but just normal leg raises.. :) Going to do some stepping up and down on my decking in a bit.. it's quite high..

Got a trek 6300 in black..I quite like it, pretty shiney. Got it a couple of weeks ago through Cycle2Work...not the fanciest, but I really like it.

Sit ups do tend to work all around your core, so wouldn't be too worried if your lower back muscles are feeling it a little bit - but don't push them too hard...I had one "ping" a few years ago and it still bothers me now and then...

I will take it easy.. i'm finding sit ups okay actually, so i'm sure that I will be fine with those..

Remember that for every muscle group you work, it's advisable to work the opposite so that your muscles don't pull you out of shape (so to speak) lol.

For sit-ups/crunches etc, it is advised to do back lifts. Lie on your front and raise yourself up using your lower back.

Do you drink a lot of beer?

I read that doing sit ups alone would not reduce the fat ontop of the stomach muscles... you have to loose fat by altering your diet..

Only by losing fat can you reduce your stomach size..

Also, cardio exercise will help you loose weight and tone up around the middle.. :)

:o Hmmmm... I think that may have been spam actually?! :o

I've been out with my dogs twice today! Had to make up for missing their walk yesterday due to the rain.. :)

My back hurts tho.. it was either the sit ups this morning or the weights yesterday, I may have tensed my back up too much when I was doing them? It's not really bad, but it's annoying and I certainly don't want any injuries! ;)

Going to rest this evening.. I am really getting into it all tho! I am looking forward to running, cycling and trying out the skipping rope :)

All in moderation though eh ;)
