Well, I tried to do a press up, but can only get half way down and back up.. :undecided

I'm gonna keep going tho.. I keep doing weights and my triceps and pecs are hurting today, so at least I know i'm working the right muscles.. losing weight will help aswell because I will have less to lift I suppose.. :D

I know I can do it, just gonna take time.. only been doing all this for a week, so i'm getting there :A

Nah, not nervous really. I'll give it my best shot but as it's just a personal challenge there's nothing at stake if I fail, I'll just have to try again another day :D

Oh how lovely for you. lol

Can you do The plank or are you familiar with it? Its used in yoga. Its great for press ups, its a good core exercise to do and its the same position as the press up... you just hold it tight. Engages the arm muscles and the abs.

I got really lazy with my press ups...at the martial arts club I train at I have to be able to do 50 press ups...but all the girls/ladies do boxed press ups, so I started to as well because its so much easier but then thought I can do man press ups so I will do them. They arent always perfect...you know nose to the floor style...chest is to the floor though lol. ahem.

I have to admit to not knowing there were so many different types of press-ups! I only knew of the full press up before looking it up just now. I did a set of 10, 20 then 30 for a total of 60 the other day, not sure if I can do 40 in one go but I'll give that a try sometime (mine aren't nose to the ground either). 50 is a lot Misspointy - respect :D

Love the Plank, I can hold for a full 3 minutes as I found out recently :D

I really havn't done much today at all, my arms are in pain tho, so i'm thinking maybe I need to take it steady.. :undecided

It's been an awfully rainy day anyway, so i'm not too fussed :)
