Hoping to play 5-a-side again tonight, but it's been kinda hit-or-miss whether we get enough people lately, so might have to do a run instead - probably 3.5miles or something...not done any decent distance since last friday now...
We had the same trouble with numbers yesterday - Damn annoying!John, footy cancelled?! nightmare! Hope you are going gym at lunchtime!
I'm signing off shortly to do some admin, hitting the gym and will be back PM!John

Haha - stop it! you're tempting me! :rotfl: Dunno where I would put one actually
unless I knocked down the conservatory
Maybe you should write down all your intake and let us have a look(and no, i'm not nosey, honest
)
I'll try and think...last couple of days, fairly typical:
tues:
small bowl of shreddies and juice for brekkie.
ham sarnie on wholemeal for lunch
some apple juice and water through the day
spag bol and salad in the evening
small pud
yesterday:
small bowl of shreddies and juice for brekkie.
tuna mayo baguette for lunch (we went out - and it was the healthiest thing on the menu)
some apple juice and water through the day
chicken escalop, carots, brocoli, (sure there was another veg too...) stuffing, couple of spuds for dinner.
small pud
I know I should lose the puds really, but generally I think i'm being pretty good - My main meals are normally pretty "balanced" - not one for too many takeaways etc0 -
Hmmm.. it sounds like a pretty good diet to me.. but yeah, maybe the puds.. what are you having for pudding? is it stodgy stuff? Could you swap it for something lighter perhaps?
Also, do you drink alot of juice? This has a lot of sugar in it..
Apart from that, you seem to eat pretty healthily really..BSC Member 155

Pudding varies, last night I had a little slice of cake-y stuff with custard, most nights it's just a yoghurt though...maybe fruit with ice cream...
I do wonder about the nutritional value of the apple juice - I've been drinking it instead of coke at work, as there's only mineral water half the time...I only have a max of 2 tins a day, anyway - which is just over a pint...
We'll give it a bit more time though, see if I get some results in a couple of weeks...Patience is, afterall, a virtue0 -
Maybe you just have a very slow metabolism then.. I can't see apple juice and puds causing you too many problems.. but at least if you got desperate you could still cut some out of your diet to see..
Have you thought of taking some cordial into work to add to the water? Makes it a bit more interesting..
It's raining here at the moment, so I can't do my skipping rope outside- unless I want to get wet of course..
Swimming pool doesn't have a session on today  it's school swimming or something...
So... i'm stuck with floor exercises, weights and maybe going to a fitness class if I fancy it.. going to look now..BSC Member 155

Morning 'fruit' juices can be crammed full of calories and sugars. I'd check the label if I was you. May be an idea to either A) Buy a juicer orswitch to water.

I just did a quick 5 minute treadmill warm up run followed by 35 mins on the CT (8.12Km). Couldn't be bothered going but I'm glad I forced myself now.John
