Wish I could play footy!
I have to wait for a delivery and royal mail collection at 12:30, then i'm gonna go.. I've mapped out a 4.75 mile ride - it's a hell of a long way tho!:undecided
& yeah, being sore is bad, my right arm is killing from badminton.. my old snowboarding injury and just pure pain from swinging my arm!
NO PAIN NO GAIN!!
Or so I keep telling myself!
My legs are like concret and my chest is acheing - Still it'll loosen off when I hit the treadmil and cross trainer in 40 mins or so.........Hopefully!!................John

Look forward to hearing how it goes G-G & John - don't overdo it folks!
I'm doing 30km on the bike in a minute (actually 10km + 20km because I need to pop to a couple of shops along the way). Then I'll see how I feel about anything else after0 -
Oh Missy! Can we swap bodies please?
I've changed my mind, i'm going for a route that is just under 2 miles.. it's quite hilly though and off road, so it should be quite challenging for me and my unfit self!
Can you pick me up a Cadbury's Twisted bar please ?!BSC Member 155

I had sugar free angel delight last night as a last resort, it wasn't nice tho! Had some crisps yesterday aswell, but i'm not a crisps person so I didn't really enjoy them!

I LOVE crisps...Coupled with alcohol they are my two main vices. I've given them up for lent though. Once I see progress I will take on the 'everything in moderation' mantra. Until then I will steer clear of those two. I reckon around 10 - 12 weeks or so.
I had a snack after tea last night...1 piece of wholemeal toast! Pushed the boat out :rotfl: .
Top tip though: Have a glass of water before EVERY meal. I do and it's worked wonders. I have confused hunger with thirst in the past I reckon, as this really works. Plus it helps keep you hydrated with all the exercise that's going on!John

Well, I'm not really into crisps or alcohol!
just chocolate and fizzy drinks..
I've given up both of those, they arn't good, even diet drinks mess with your blood sugar levels, teeth and bloat you.. make you feel sluggish etc.. I just drink tea, water and sugar free squash occasionally.
Ooooh toast, I've put the loaf in the freezer whilst OH is away, otherwise I would be eating toast aswell!
Water before every meal is a good plan, I will do thatBSC Member 155

Well, my first goal achieved today
(and for the week! haha)
I did my bike ride, all 2.77 miles of it! :j I know it's not as much as some of you do, but I havn't been out for a proper bike ride, or cardio excercise in a long long time
I'm so pleased! My damn chain came off 3 times!and I really wanted to cut the ride short after about 5 mins, as the first bit was all uphill and through a field.. ergh.. hard work! but, the middle section around the lakes were really fun, kind of dirt track style, so I really enjoyed that
I nearly ran a jogger and a postman over :T Note to self: Must try harder to get a direct hit next time
I'm sitting here now with a big bottle of water, wheazing slightly, slightly pink in the face... but with a big grinBSC Member 155
