Tararabumdiay wrote: »I am just filling in form, and am basing my 'Particulars of Claim' from Post 6 by Rex Mundi from the MCOL thread.
it says ' the claimant has an account [account number] with the Defendant, opened [put date opened]. [I have found out the date the account was opened from my bank].
It then says 'Since [Date] the Defendant debited charges and interest in respect of purported breacheds of contract etc......
Can anyone tell me do I put the date the account was opened here which was May 2000 or do I put the date I am claiming from which is November 2000?
At this point I'm stuck, I Don't know what to do, please help

i started my claim with MCOL on Friday 6th July at 1130pm
Checked MCOL this morning but was not allowed to claim default judgement ??
Will it be tonight at 1130?
Does it work as 5 WORKING days rather than just 5 days plus the 14 days?0 -
Was it started or issued on 6 July? The countdown begins with date of issue which is usually a day later. Let's assume it was issued on 6 July. 6 + 5 + 14 is 25 July which is today. You need to give them the whole 14 days so they have all of today to react still. Try from midnight. They might acknowledge at the last minute though.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Hi all. New to this amazing forum.
If someone could help me please with a small problem that would be very much appreciated.
I submitted a claim yesterday on the website for Money Claim Online. The status today is "Start" and it is asking me what i want to do - tick either:
"The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim
(Judgment by Default)
You will need to decide, how and when you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the Judgment to be paid by instalment or in one payment."
or
"The defendant admits that all the money is owed
(Judgment by Admission)
If the defendant has given a new address on the form of admission to which correspondence should be sent, update the defendant's details within the following Judgment request."
A bit confused. Many thanks in advance for help.

You have a bit of a way to go before you hit either button! Have a read of Beate's post in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.0

So I should just wait?
The current status of my claim is "Start", hence why I was a bit concerned.
Thanks for the reply btw.0 -

Hi all, i know this question has probably been asked, but i have searched the threads and can't find it. Could anyone please tell me ive issued the Judgement button online today as Natwests time was up to reply yesterday ( due to post i allowed them post this morning). Not sure what happens next, ticked the box that said immediate payment its just that i am claiming just over £5000 once the interest has been added. Do i have to give them so many days, help would be really appreciated.0

Thanks GarethR, ive had a look through that section but it just says - you win by default they have to pay you in full. But how long do you wait from the judgement and for them to pay, before you issue the warrent?Hope someone can help.0
