I have sent my first letter to Llyods asking for a list of charges which they have sent me.

I now need to find an address to send my second letter to, asking for the money back, as i closed my account a year ago. Can anyone help? Is is just the same place i sent the first one?

Also if they agree to pay the money will they just send me a cheque or will i need to give them my new account details?

    Thanks

  • I had a business a/c with Bank of Scotland until last November, when I switched to NatWest & closed the a/c in disgust due to my ill treatment by the so-called 'relationship manager.'
I didn't know about claiming back the charges at this time and so simply wrote to their customer services to complain.
Anyone know if I can claim in arrears now the a/c is closed?
    Hope so......

Yes. You still have a right to justice. Look on the bright side - at least you won't have to worry about them closing your account!
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • Should I just follow the same system, obviously telling them that I closed my account because of these unfair charges?
Any advice would be really welcome. I have the statements.

Yep, just proceed like everyone else. The account being closed won't make a difference.

    Hi

Yes you can, just bear in mind the 6 year deadline. I'm currently claiming from Barclays. Closed the account in 2004.
