Can I claim on a closed account, no account number?

Thanks for the help I have Had a little look but still cant see were it says its ok to claim back your bank charges even if the bank account is closed I just dont want to close it then find out I
cant reclaim them.

Yes you can claim regardless of whether the account is open, closed or with a debt collection agency.

yup i done mine on a clsoed abbey account, when they wrote to me saying i was getting the money piad i called and asked for a cheque to be sent

My gf wants to start the process of reclaiming her bank charges, however her account had been closed by Lloyds and passed to a debt recovery company.

Can she still reclaim her charges? & who should she contact, Lloyds or the debt company?

Yes she can. She should contact Lloyds using the templates Martin provides for reclaiming.
