Its just a shame the cheaper option does not have a picture.
The lean to is another option.... but again no pictures of cheaper options.
Might give them a ring....Our dream has come true...0 -
I've had some cold-frames off them, they use sheets of rigid PVC instead of Sheets of glass. It makes them very light so the base will have to be fixed to the ground otherwise it will blow away. When I got my cold-frames I thought they would be to flimsy because I get winds coming off the sea, but they have worked a treat. I don't know how long they will last for, the frame is aluminium so they should last.0

Does anyone know how good the budget greenhouse at £69 is?
It says its covered with pvc sheeting off a roll....is that like polythene or is it rigid stuff?
Thanks, Becka1248
Hello
It's on a roll and is quite strong but i have never been a fan of it i spoke to the dealer at Stondon and he said a few people have had problems rolling the sheet out and sticking together i personally would go for the ultimate models purely if you have a problem ie a broken window it only cost's about £5-£8 for a window and about £10 for a roof panel so it's easier to replace parts as for the frame they are galvanised and are very strong i have a garden room on the back of my flat for the last 4 years and has no problems apart in feburary when we had a storm and it blew out 3 windows only cost £20 to repair it.
I would say these are value for money.
I have a catalogue here If you want to buy the budget for £69.00 and then decide later you can upgrade to the ulimate kit for another £69.00 so for the money £125.00 + £15.00 p&p i would go for the greenhouse 64 Junior.

Have a look at the Standard 8 greenhouse picture to get an idea.
The budget version looks similar, but has no window. The side containing the door is the same width (6ft) as the Standard 8 model and the length of the budget model is half as long (4ft instead of 8ft). In fact, have a look at the Ultimate Junior 4 model to see the size of the budget model.0 -

Hi
I saw a walk in plastic greenhouse in woolworths yesterday for 29.99 it had those approximate dimensions, I think Poundstretchers/ instore do a similar one.
Check them out, I have a small 3 tier one that I picked up for 9.99 and it's great for starting plants off and last year I grew tomatoes in there. Hope this helps.:j0 -
Have you tried your local freecycle?Nothing to see here, move along.0

I don't know if any are still available, but Morrisons supermarket had a 6x4 plastic covered greenhouse for around £20.I wish you......

search ebay, freecycle and local shops and paper. even have a look around a few neighbours houses and see if they have them and sometimes they are unused and unless they get the kick start from someone asking for it they will just leave it there.0

Also bear in mind that plastic covered greenhouses do not last long as the plastic deteriorates rather quickly and could need replacing every other year or so. Perhaps it would be better to save up until you can get yourself a glazed one. You'd save in the long run.A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0
