Hello!
The performance went well despite me mucking it up partway through - thankfully the squad went with it
No fallen stunts, no big muckups, and a fair bit of applause. I was so relieved when it was all done I did a few laps of the assault course, ha ha!
How is everyone?

Thought you were going to say you did a few laps of cartwheels, HBS :rotfl:
Well done on getting through it, I reckon as long as your feet keep moving then you're doing okay. BTW, can anyone here do cartwheels?
Zumba tomoz - gonna SWEAT:DPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Haven't been doing heaps of exercise, partly coz it's too hot and partly coz I'm off work. Missing the walking, but I'm not really the type to sit on my butt all day so probably doing ok. Have managed my 2.5 mile run again, same time as always.
Have been looking at bicycles too! Figured I may as well coz I don't have to pay for a car. Had borrowed OHs bike for a while (which as now died!) to make sure I'd actually get the use out of it before I forked out for one. Happy to say I would get my monies worth, so hopefully get one very soon!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
I can do cartwheels, front handsprings and (sometimes) front somersaults
It's far too hot to really get going with the exercise - MM, I admire your grit in going to Zumba!
HAW, I keep thinking about a bike but I'd probably break a leg falling off it...

Watched again, HAW, always nice to put a face to a name:D Just reminded about a zumba party that my 5 year old DD went to a few weeks back. I wasn't able to take her but all the kids have raved about it so sure there'll be some more zumba parties coming up next year.
Had a feeling that you were going to say that HBS... I was never very good at cartwheels when I was younger. Front handsprings, front somersaults - why am I on this thread?
Managed zumba okay - thank god for air conditioning. Probably not much more going on this week for me, might try zumba again on friday if feeling energetic:DPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

A Zumba party? That sounds fun
and you're on this thread, like the rest of us - to try and get fitter and stronger
The only reason I have any tumbling skills is due to a bit of dance training as a kid and good upper body strength

Oh my LORD. Kettlebells last night was with a different instructor - we paired up and spent half our time doing swings and half running up and down the steps at the stadium.
My stairs are proving fun today...lol!

Here's a small clip of our display on Saturday (it's one of the Zumbatomic (kids) dances). Loads of young ones joined in for the craic! Good fun
I've heard kettlebells are great. Tempted to give it a shot sometime, but will attempt a few runs on my NEW BIKE first!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Yay for new bike
Debating getting a kettlebell for home, but I think I prefer the classes. It's a toss-up between assault course and lifting heavy things tonight...

I've not been doing too badly with getting a wiggle on recently but been a bit busy to report on it! I've been out on my bike with OH a couple of times and yesterday did a 4 mile walk. I've also been walking a couple of miles every school day. Now it's the holidays i can really focus on getting fit. Going to clear my room today and get the wii fit out again and thinking about going swimming tomorrow (if I can convince OH to join me!)*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*
