There are a lot of double standards, unfortunately. We aren't allowed to say a word about fat people but there is a lot 'skinny shaming' these days. "Real women have curves" is something fat people say which really gets on my nerves for two reasons. 1. They are saying they are more woman than someone who is smaller than them, which is just insulting, and 2. They don't know what curvy means.

Real women do have curves. But they have them looking from the front on, not like fat people, whose curves are side on. :D

PS. Former fat person who never called herself curvy

I saw it on one of my large friends facebook profiles, found it funny so shared it and then this person took offence. Yeah, she probably was having a bad day or something but still, had I been her size, I know for a fact she'd have laughed with me.

and yes, the apostrophe did annoy me too, but it's the only version i could find. :rotfl:

    "It's label"

'its' is an adjective that denotes belonging - "Tickle the dog behind its ears", whereas 'it's' is a shortened form of 'it is'.

Yup, except that 'its' is not an adjective, it is a possessive pronoun ;)

We could just stop body shaming on everyone, you know, in a perfect world.

A real woman is someone who says "Im a woman"

We shouldn't be rude to fat people. They have enough on their plate.

Oddly enough always accompanied by a diet coke. Like that will make a difference :D
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I rarely drink cola, but when I do I always have diet, even though I usually avoid sweeteners. 'full fat' always makes my teeth feel odd and soft and unpleasant.

fat coke doesn't taste the same as diet coke - i prefer the taste of diet coke.

And if you do drink a lot of soft drinks, going for the diet ones can save a lot of calories. It won't make you slimmer unless you're watching the rest of your diet, but it could stop you putting more weight on, or putting less on.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.
