I wouldn't ridicule that image as 'fat shaming'. I would, however, ridicule it for stupid misuse of the apostrophe.

Thank you, I can show this to my kids and they'll know it's not only me that picks up on the incorrect use of the apostrophe.
  • Eat it today, wear it tomorrow!

Into the lips onto the hips!

    I love my apostrophes!!!!!! :j

If in doubt blame the thyroids!
  • There are a lot of double standards, unfortunately. We aren't allowed to say a word about fat people but there is a lot 'skinny shaming' these days. "Real women have curves" is something fat people say which really gets on my nerves for two reasons. 1. They are saying they are more woman than someone who is smaller than them, which is just insulting, and 2. They don't know what curvy means.

Sorry but could you please let me know where the incorrect use is?

I've looked and looked and must be blind because I can't seem to see it.

    Thanks

There is only 1 apostrophe I can see, correctly placed in the word don't.. Ah yes.. It's.. I see.. but the OP didn't make the picture she just copied and pasted . There are quotation marks correctly placed around the quotes from the hypothetical packaging. Though quotation marks are improperly used by the OP around the words fat on 2 occasions... but as an overuser of the ......... and the !!!!!!!!!!!!! .... who gives a monkeys?????? (Ok so I use those too much too :p)

Let's face it, some fat people don't like how they look the same as some skinny people don't like the way they look and there is always someone who takes offence at anything and everything.. another reason to ridicule them :p I don't think anyone is 100% happy with their appearance and if you poke fun at their sensitive point they will go off on one.

    "It's label"

'its' is an adjective that denotes belonging - "Tickle the dog behind its ears", whereas 'it's' is a shortened form of 'it is'.

On the image; I don't find it fat shaming, I just don't find it amusing.

You have a point, I'm not a fan of the 'real women' trend at all.

However, don't generalise, that's just as bad!
