I never liked how my husband kissed but he was the best lover I have had.
Really? Because kissing to me, is a good half of a good lover, maybe that's just a male talking :o
Kissing surely is the backbone of a loving tie, you get the kissing, you get loved up and then you get to the serious loving.

Have I been wrong for all this time?

  • Was set up with a woman a few years back, remember her dropping me home and it was pouring down with rain and freezing. So heating was on. Her breath stank BAD, was hard to hold my breath for the 10 min drive  Had to kiss her really, would've felt bad being as she took me home, haven't seen her since though lol :T

Point is, could NEVER do that again I felt sick big time!
  • LOL. And I still cannot sleep. Maybe I should get a room!

When I first saw you my heart stood still
as you stood handsomely on the heath.
I made an effort to get closer to you
but you never looked after your teeth.
I neared you a trembling not knowing what to say.
You opened your mouth and took my breath away.
You and I will never be - though sad it is to think -
for I cannot get past the simple fact that your breath does half stink.

You are entirely correct Lotus-eater! Been with hubby 17 years, and he still makes me go weak at the knees with a nice kiss! :T

It sounds like the chemistry is just not there OP. Otherwise you would have said something like "I really fancy this bloke like crazy but.....".
But you didn't. You say he is physically attractive but his breath stinks and his kiss repulsed you.

Really not a good start to a relationship!

If the 'electricity' isnt there to start with no matter how good he kisses i'd be running for the hills.

I think it depends on how much practise youve had as to how good a kisser you are but theres no excuse for bad breath! Good oral hygiene and a good course of probiotics very often is all that needed (as well as a trip to the dentist to check all is well).
