You sound like you've been makinga huge effort already , and i agree with the previous poster that it's not normal that your weight isn't going down when you're eating so little. Deffo go bk to your GP, take your food diary if necessary ! Exercise is really the key to losing fat. But if you're doing that already there must be something fishy, hopefully you'll get some answers on 1st october0

Hi Mrs TM
My sister makes and sells soap as a side business. Let me ask her about the rules and regulations on the weekend, and I'll PM you next week.
Thanks for the good wishes, ladies!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Thanks for that. All of the research that I've found points towards me not being able to do it, even if it's completely online.
I'm cooking some veggies for dinner and I found a bottle of apple juice for 10p at Tesco tonight, so I'm having a bit of that too.

Morning everyone. Down to 126.3kg as of this morning. The first two weeks on plan are always the same. Drop a massive amount of weight, then nothing, no matter how hard I try and no matter what I do.
Oh well. I suppose I'll just try to lose as much as I can by my doctors appointment.
Just oatmeal with apple juice and cinnamon and 5 hazelnuts for breakfast today. 257 calories down now.
A bit of good news: we picked up mushrooms and bananas last night, so at least I have something to eat that I can enjoy that isn't much in the way of calories!
Didn't realise that I posted this one in the middle of the lists! Must pay more attention!0 -

Weight loss surgery is great for some, but unless you have a few years of ttc to give up to it, you might be better following a diet you can live your life with. You are not supposed to get pregnant for 3+years after the surgery according to my referal doctor. I joined SW instead as I didn't feel like I had that sort of time ttc, I had a very unhealthy relationship with food before, now it's much better, I don't skip meals, I don't obsess, I know what is bad for me and it works for me. I highly recommend it as a healthy and sustainable way to eat. I have lost 2 1/2 stone in the year and I have plenty more to go but I have satisfying and healthy meals every day. Good luck with whatever you decide!:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

Have you considered meal replacement Mrs TM? Like lighter life/ exante/ cambridge diet etc. They're very low calorie diets (between 600- 800 cals a day). I know that loads of people have their opinions on them but I have used them in the past and have found them quite useful. For me they took away the stress of thinking about and preparing food and fit in quite well with my life. I'll be going back on some sort of meal replacement soon as IVF is getting ever closer and my BMI is now 31 instead of the 26 it was when I first started with fertility investigations.
The other thing I would say is watch your sugar intake- I know you make a lot of preserved fruits with minimal sugar but the sugar in the fruit is just as bad- far better to eat veggies than fruits. There's a couple of series that have been on BBC over the past couple of years- one called 'The men who made us fat' which was about sugar vs fat and another called 'The men who made us thin'. They'll probably be on youtube. They were pretty eye opening with regards to how the food, diet, exercise and insurance industries have screwed us over.
I think the problem with weight loss is everyone has a tried and tested method but these differ for all of us. I hope you find the answer that works for you. Personally I think BMI is a crap measurement tool for anything other than making you feel terrible about yourself. My ex-personal trainer OH is classed as obese by it. I can't exercise and eat healthily as I gain muscle weight (due to a mis-spent youth in county athletics clubs) which makes my BMI go up but sees my body fat drop/ inches lost and generally feeling healthier- hence the return to VCLD and a little bit of exercise to prevent me going mad.
Don't let it get you down. You are NOT your BMI- you're much better than that crappy tool!0 -
AFM. CD37. 20DPO. BFN yesterday on a left over cheapie from when I thought a natural BFP was a possibility. No sign of AF- no spots, no sore kajungas, no pre-AF cramps. Fuming. Suspect it will do a sneak AF ninja attack at some point soon. Hate how it's building up the 0.1% of me that still retains any hope.0
