Trying for a Baby Part 9

Mrs T M I found using the my fitness pal app really helpful as it makes you be totally homest about everything you eat and drink but lets you put in exercise to make up for over indulging!
As for treats, what do you like? How about cheap books for the kindle? Audiobooks or music? Poundland, my favourite shopping the whole wide world?!
I'm using sparkpeople.com because they offer meal plans for a rough guide on what and how much to eat. MFP is awesome, but doesn't offer meal plans. The only two things that I don't like about sparkpeople is that they don't offer nut free nor gluten free options yet!
I've decided that for my first treat (because I can drop 10 pounds in a week or two starting out) I'm going to try and find some containers to mix my yoghurt up in and use to portion out dried fruit and the nuts I'm not allergic to for while I'm out. Later on I'll probably use the treat for a new outfit from the charity shop or something that I don't get often that's healthy (like dried blueberries, dried cranberries, or starfruit!). I've never really allowed myself treats, so this will be new.
OH! I know one thing I could do for a treat! A new notepad and a pack of pencils with erasers, or, even better, mechanical pencils! Oh dear, my geek is showing.0 -

Hi all,
Grats on recent BFPs
*hugs* tea and those who the witch got
CD 1 here and that was my last clomid cycle0 -
Hugs tea and good vibes. I was really hopeful for both of you this cycle.
Well, so far, so good on the weight thingie. I made DH some chocolate ice cream in the ice cream maker and I didn't even taste of it!I've also mixed up some ranch veggie dip for my broccoli. It honestly tastes better than the Newman's Own (which, unfortunately, is the only kind of ranch dressing I've found here). Also, I can have 3 tbsp for 138 calories instead of 2 tbsp for 170 calories for the NO stuff!!!
I'm honestly wondering why I didn't do this earlier. I'm having a snack now, so I'll probably have lunch (a baked potato and half of a chicken breast) around 1 or 1:30 to make it last until dinner. This meal plan wants me to make a veggie sauce for pasta tonight with 2 cups of tomatoes and 1.25 cups cooked lentils! I'll pop if I try to eat all of that plus pasta! Guess I know what I'll probably be having for lunch tomorrow.

Looks like I won't be making soap to sell any time soon. As in, years. The more I research, the more regulations, testing, fees, and taxes pop up that have to be paid before the first product is ever sold. I've no idea how anyone can ever get an actual business started here with these regulations. I can understand why they are there, but I don't have thousands of pounds to waste up front on fees! Needless to say, I'm more than a bit discouraged by all of this.
First I determine that I cannot get pregnant at my current weight, now I determine that there's no way that I can do what I've been wanting to do for years (make and sell soap). I just want to curl up and cry!0 -
I've lost a bunch of weight with Slimming world, almost 3 stone before bfp last time, I've lost the weight I gained with DS again and I'm loosing again. The plan is easy to follow and you can have treats too. My BMI is similar to yours Mrs_T. There is always hope!:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do
DS Born Jan 2012, Baba number 2 due in June 20140 -
Hi everyone,
Well i think i'm 1DPO, but i've had flu since friday, so only got to BD yesterday (my OH is brave !) which was ovulation day i think, so probably out this month. What do you ladies think ? Would a bd yesterday have been too late for his swimmers to reach the eggy ?? I had loads of EWCM yesterday, despite all the decongestant medication i'm on !
Congrats for all the BFPs, reeeally hope we'll all be joining you soon
Mrs T M - respect for that post about your weight, you sound like you're very realistic. I really think you can achieve your target weight, looking forward to a future healthy pregnancy is amazing motivation ! :T i'll be watching out for your progress
love to everyone x0 -
Ended up eating 3 chocolate digestives. I really need to find a different way to cope with stress and disappointment. Oh well, at least I didn't have any ice cream. Plus I can skip my afternoon snack and dessert (applesauce and yoghurt with peaches) to help make up for the biscuits. Blah. In the States it's much easier to sell things. So long as your profits are under $10,000, no need for a business license, insurance, or anything like that. You just make things and sell them online! I honestly wonder how many people making and selling soaps in the UK are really doing it legally? If I could get a grant to pay for the fees and testing of the soaps, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but that's a lot to fork over!0
