  • Anyone who wants Insanity and to steam off the gorgeous but unavailable *sob* Shaun T (disclaimer- I'm really not into muscles but for Shaun T even my OH would go gay...he's that gorgeous :rotfl: )

PM me for my address. You'll have to send me a high capacity memory stick (about 10GB of space), a stamped self-addressed envelope and I'll copy it onto it and post it back to you. If you don't know what it is this video will explain it- it's hard work, makes you want to puke but you do get fit quick and lose weight... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji3mYi-anBg

Code and Angeltreats- I'll PM you my address. I know what you're talking about with regards to cost- I was given it on memory stick or I'd never have been able to get it!

I've been doing insanity and slimming world (insanity food plan not compatible with real life...) since last Monday- start weight 13 stone 5 lbs, today's weight 12 stone 13.8 lbs. That's with stuffing my face with oreo cheesecake which I'm pretty chuffed with. I'm expecting it to slow down but my aim was to be under 13 stone by 30 which I've done 15 days in advance so happy with that. I might not be a mum by 30 (my aim when TTC started) but I will be thinner and healthier!

I have had a nice day sorting things out. Going through this last week has made me so much stronger in myself than I ever thought I could be then I see you girls have been trying for so long to even get a BFP and I feel utterly selfish. I hope you long timers graduate soon. I guess any pain no matter how it is caused is relative to the person suffering. :(

I am looking forward to the next part of the White Queen but hoping it does not contain yet another pregnancy or childbirth! :o

I have bought cheap ovulation tests from amazon - do you wait for a line as it were or a line the strength of the control line?

Thanks to Mrs T_M for the lists - hugs to those who need them. xx

You're not selfish! TTC is a struggle for lots of us, miscarriage is a struggle for lots of us. They might be different but the suffering caused is similar.

I also breathed a sigh of relief (as well as the OH) that the white queen didn't pop another sodding baby out last night!

For the OPKs the two lines have to be the same darkness to show OV... :)

I'll be catching up with the White Queen tonight so it's good to know it's birth free for once! I only watched last week's this weekend and it was a complete baby-fest.

It's also really starting to annoy me now that no one has changed their clothes! These are rich people, why would the king's brothers and SILs still be wearing exactly the same coats they had 12+ years ago. Then I remind myself how completely inaccurate it all is and just enjoy the dark brooding men lol.
  • Mmmm. Max Irons. I thought Richard was fit until OH said he looked like Frodo when the ring was getting too much for him to bear- sort of killed that right off...

Thanks Chocoholic Chick - and good luck for the end of the TWW.

Code - Hope your bloods show what would be best (I am not sure how these 21 day bloods work.)

PaulaShek- I think its best to wait until you would expect AF. Good luck!

CWTW - Thank you and isn't it interesting you are using Insitol and had that result.....watch this space seems to be doing some changes in some ladies.

Tea - what a great weight loss - my friend is trying to loose weight and is struggling - maybe I should try and pursuade her to do this Insanity. My partner did it and he said it was hard to keep up with. He said the results are amazing though.

Also thanks for your message - I am glad I am not the only one happy the White Queen didn't show anymore childbirth!

AFM - I really had the largest challenge today. I work in Social Housing and the first tenant I saw was 12 weeks pregnant and expecting pretty much around my previous due date. It took everything not in me to cry as she advised that she was shocked she was even pregnant. She kept talking about the baby 'well I need to get the house sorted for the baby'. I went back to my desk, breathed deeply and carried on with my day. If I can get through that then I can get through anything. Hardest moment of my life so far. I might have a good cry later, sometimes you just need to let it out. I think its Long Lost family tonight so I might combine the tears to conserve energy and all that.

On the upside I have my ovulation sticks and conception vitamins. Always like fluffy post :) so just waiting for the jacket patatoes for tea.

    :)

  • It is hard- I couldn't argue with that but as long as you take breaks when you need them rather than when the fitness humandroid machines do then you can build yourself up. He always goes on about 'form over speed' and it's right. I still can't keep up with the screen people but I am beating myself against previous sessions so you do get a sense of accomplishment and because it's different everyday you don't get bored. (and I can't stress enough how much you get to perv at Shaun T ;) )
  • Samtoby - Definitely think you need a good cry by the sounds of it, here's a dodgy hug :grouphug:

I had a moment last month at work when I broke down. One person knows I'm TTC, didn't intend to tell her but it came out somehow and she's not the most sensitive person. I was at the loo at the same time as her and she heard me use the Sani bin ( sorry if TMI ) and made a point of saying to me when I came out the cubicle aww guess you're not pregnant again then are you?!?

Gone from feeling positive that this month could be our month to completely sure its not within the space of an afternoon. Starting to get cramps so guessing AF will be here soon :(

    hey everyone
currently cd21 & 8dpo so i might test on sunday if no sign of AF
I had myself tortured last month, testing way too early & being heart broken when AF arrived.
We had our first wedding anniversay at the weekend & it was difficult because we should have been 22/23 weeks pregnant by now! Such a hard thing to get over! I still get emotional talking & thinking about how different things could be right now

I cant remember who was chatting about getting a kitten but my vote is go for it. We just got a puppy last month (something we put off from December because of TTC)

I also booked OH a London trip for his 30th Birthday as a surpirse. Another thing I had been putting off!

Fingers crossed this is a good month for all of us! And of course hugs to anyone who needs them :)
