I don't know if its any use to any ladies with dh sa results but I've been adding linwoods milled flaxseed, almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts & q10 to his smoothies, food and baking etc. he doesn't know as he claims to hate all of them.im hoping it will help the swimmers.
  • Thanks for the link to the powder inositol Claire. I was using the tablets from H&B until I ran out but the powder seems much cheaper. I've ordered some for my next cycle.

I went to a 'detox' day this morning (mainly because I wanted a really pummelling massage because I've started doing insanity again) and ended up having my ear chewed off by a herbalist that she could reset my hormones and help with IVF... It's so bloody tempting to buy into this stuff but my inner sceptic is just screaming at me- especially when they mention my least favourite of all of the hocus pocus (homeopathy).

Still, it's like she's planted these seeds in my head that I should do everything possible. Then I remember that Tim Minchin song 'Storm' (You know what they call “alternative medicine” that's been proved to work? Medicine.”). I feel like infertility has turned me into a mad hippy clutching at straws!

I know exactly what you mean. I'm normally logical but I think I've tried every supplement relating to ttc just in case it's the magic pill or tea that'll give me that elusive BFP.

Just done an exercise dvd of callanetics. I used to do the class about 15 years ago, but it was about £15 a class back then so I hate to imagine what it would cost now so I found the dvd and did that today. Aside from giggling at the 80s fashions and makeup, I was totally in pain. Hopefully it'll get me back in my holiday clothes.

  • If you'd like 'insanity' you could always post me a memory stick and I could send it back to you? I've lost 4.5lbs this week doing it and eating slimming world recipes (including oreo cheesecake- om nom nom). It's a 60 day programme and it's basically a cross between Guantanamo Bay and the worlds worst bootcamp but you do different work outs each day. Plus the instructor is fit... Mmmm- Shaun T. ;)

I have had a nice day sorting things out. Going through this last week has made me so much stronger in myself than I ever thought I could be then I see you girls have been trying for so long to even get a BFP and I feel utterly selfish. I hope you long timers graduate soon. I guess any pain no matter how it is caused is relative to the person suffering. :(

I am looking forward to the next part of the White Queen but hoping it does not contain yet another pregnancy or childbirth! :o

I have bought cheap ovulation tests from amazon - do you wait for a line as it were or a line the strength of the control line?

Thanks to Mrs T_M for the lists - hugs to those who need them. xx

Hey TACOD could I be really cheeky and ask you for a copy of Insanity, if I post you a memory stick? I would be extremely grateful, been after it for a while but can't afford to fork out for it. Happy to pay for postage etc.

Code, have you tried 30 Day Shred? It's very good indeed. It's on Youtube (level 1 is here and there are also links to level 2 and 3).

Those discussing exercise - I started the 30 day shred but gave up after day 10!! I have no motivation - if anyone does start doing it and wants to buddy up and post when they have done it let me know!! It does seem good as it is only 20 mins!
