Trying for a Baby Part 9

just back from a mini break with dh & dd2 just what was needed DH & I had long talks and got lots of air cleared............
Just before we left on thursday had a text out of the blue from a friend to announce she was 13 weeks pg :mad::mad:and spouting off in my face had to tell her I was happy for her but that I couldn't really deal with her being up in my face about it and that I would hope she would respect and understand my position....I don't think that is being rude do u??????

For anyone interested, here is my smoothie recipe of the day. I'm enjoying it now due to having some bad tummy troubles earlier today. Thus why I chose this one:

Feel Better Berry Smoothie
1 cup milk
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp coconut oil (melted and drizzled in at the end while blender is running)
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 handful fresh spinach (I omitted this because I'm out of spinach and don't think rocket would have been a good substitute )
Juice of 1/2 lemon

This one tastes good and isn't too sweet or too tart. It is helping me feel better though, so that's good.

Not ttc related but I'm very tired, just went to feed the kitten and Instead i put her food in the watering can lol

Ah - Part Mouse - I want a kitten. Just another thing that ttc has made me put off! As we had a small cat when DS2 was a baby and I didn't cope very well with cats/babies and the whole baby eating the cat food thing!!! Really I should reevaluate and get one , as children would benefit from having a pet and I do love cats.
Tinkwings - I don't think that that is rude.One of my best friends is pregnant at the mo (early stages) and I am finding it difficult - she is emailing me early scan photos etc. So can imagine how you are finding it. Like you say - I am pleased for my friend but could do without the *in my faceness* of it.

If you really want a kitten do it we used to have birds but put off getting another animal as were ttc. In the end you can put your life on hold and not have things/do things you really enjoy which is turn can make you feeling like your missing out even more which im sure doesnt do much good for your emotional wellbeing.

Good morning all. I've not had time to catch up on the thread properly but big hugs to those in need especially samtoby and sweatybetty.
Can I guess 8 for this month please.
I really don't think I will be one of them. Not really had the chance to BD much this last week although I'm just assuming this is when I have ovulated, I could be wrong.
Rotten weather this morning and I need to go into town to collect my new camera (going to be a birthday present from my mum). I think I'll wait until later to see if the weather clears up.

Yup! Although realistically it's going to be 53 maximum unless there's some sort of immaculate conception deal for me .
