  • If you are mad then insanity is the thing for you :)... It has helped me start sleeping through the night as I'm knackered from doing it! I've also come off my prozac, my GP told me not to- pah, and the exercise is really helping me mood wise. You could always give it a go when you're ready. xx

Grrr I just need to vent (sorry in advance).

I've only just managed to compose myself after the worst baby bomb I have experienced to date. I picked up the phone to "oh hi I'm just calling from mother and baby to see how you and your little one are doing". I had to then explain that I'd mc I'm not sure who felt worse but I'm guessing me cos as soon as I put the phone down I burst into tears. Dh was wonderful and we had a really good talk but that call brought it all home what I was missing out on. I should be on mat leave with a 4 week old but I'm not. Failing that I should be about 11 weeks pregnant with my second bfp but I'm not that either. At the end of this month we will have been ttc a year and we're still no closer to having a baby. I know a years not long in the scheme of things and some of you ladies have been waiting even longer but it still really sucks.

Sorry it just really got to me tonight

    Hugs to all x

Biggest hugs. I dont think they should be allowed to make phone calls like that.

grrr. Have woken up with major back pain - thats what I get for trying to be healthy. Even worse it's like a trapped nerve or something so my arm is sore too.

Am 8dpo and I know brufen would help or failing that cocodamol. Do you think it's ok to take these in 2ww?

Purcy - really feel for you there - how awful.
Code -I definitely wouldn't rehome a kitten if Im lucky enough to get pregnant. Just need to persuade DH fully now!

Think I got a positive on a cheapy OPK yesterday! Unfortunately had thrown away my sample so couldn't check on my one remaining Clear Blue so I went with it. Was so happy - ran up the garden to tell DH...Not sure he was so impressed to hear about my plans for him as he tended the beans.
Will check again later - and fingers crossed BD again.
So questions as an OPK newbie...Will I see the 2nd line this afternoon? (Or does it only appear for 1 day?) Which day is 1DPO??
    Thanks in advance x

I didn't think you would. Just got annoyed with someone on Facebook because she got a kitten and the next thing she got pregnant and rehomed the poor thing. Also someone else bought a puppy for her daughter then rehomed it a few months later because it chewed stuff. You'll be in luck though - it's kitten season and the cat shelters will be stuffed with kittens. We need to see photos though.

As for the opks you should stop taking them once you get a positive. Most women should ov between 12-24 hours (though it can be 36) so you can probably count today as 0dpo. Keep bding though if you can. Do you check your cm? One of the biggest clues of ov is that your cm will dry up immediately.
