Tashatutuw - What's a chocolate coca cola cake??? You must have a very sweet tooth. Don't worry, the thing with a bad day with dieting is that you can start again the next day.
Kynthia chocolate coca cola cake is basically the same sort of thing as chocolate fudge cake but made with coca cola instead - I have a very sweet tooth (and no capacity to say enough) and this is DH's favourite now - he wants me to make another one cuz we have finished the first (sorry Twig) - midweek baking? Hell no!
We have the same bedtime conversations as well by the sounds of things - I'm glad its not only me but sad as well cuz we only just started lol! xx:j Married to the Love of my Life 02.08.2014 - Now I'm Mrs E :j

Sounds very interesting. I tend to do less baking than I'd like because otherwise I eat more calories than I'd like.Although I recently had a disaster making raspberry and frangipani muffins. They overflowed, were too sharp, were raw inside, the topping went soggy the next day and then they stained a dubious blue colour around the raspberries. Hubbie eats absolutely anything, including raw chicken, but he wouldn't eat these!
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Hello all
Sorry I've been AWOL and missed lots of news.
Chocolate coca cola cake sounds AMAZING!! Do you have a recipe please?
Also very impressed by all your artistic skills! I lack any kind of artistic/creative side so I am very jealous at all your beautiful creations!
Hugs to all those needing one. And congrats to optimistic mummy for her BFP :T
Currently on CD5.Thanks for doing the lists Becca!
I had a little wobble on CD1 which was good because it actually meant hubby and I sat down and chatted about it. He has this stupid idea that im preventing us getting pregnant by thinking about it too much and worrying about it too much. grrr  So in the interests of a happy marriage, we agreed that we'd do alternate months each others way. So this month it is my month and we will be using OPKs, temping, conceive plus and strategic BDing. Next month is his month and I've agreed to do it his way and just not think about it. I know I'll cave and do OPKs at workbut if he thinks I'm playing along then everyone is happy!
Anyway, I'm determined to keep positive and have the following reasons:
1. Last cycle i managed to extend my LP to 12 days so although its still short, it's a massive improvement on the 8 days it used to be!
2. This month we have some conceive plus to try (half price in the bargain bin at Boots! :T)
3. I also have a stash of clearblue smiley face OPKs (also half price in the bargain bin at Boots! :T)
4. I went to the doctor this week for an unrelated check. I mentioned that we have been TTC since Oct 2012 as an aside and he agreed that we need to accelerate all the tests because of my medical history (concern over my tubes due to nasty septicaemia and complications following a ruptured appendix) and a long waiting list. So next week I am going for some initial blood tests and hubby is having a SA (except he doesn't know it yet and I can imagine that is going to be a "fun" conversation :rotfl:)
Hope everyone else is well and fingers crossed for some more BFPs soon!

Congrats Optimistic-Mummy
Hugs amyloofoo though sounds good that you found someone to confide in who is in a similar situation, perhaps it will help having someone to talk to if you ever need to in real life
picklekin - hope the scan goes well
Impressed with the 3 nights in a row - haven't you just moved house as well?!?!
skaps - how frustrating, do you have to wait til then or is there a chance you might get a cancellation?
Mrs TM and Tinkwings - you are both so clever, great stuff you have both done
catloverbex - glad you discussed things with your OH and have come to a compromise, hope the conversation about the SA goes well. Sounds like you have a considerate doctor beginning to start getting tests arranged. Think I will have to head to boots and see if my local branch has any reduced clear blue opks.
As for me, I am on CD1. It seems my cycles are shortening by one day gone from 43 to 42 and this month 41. Going to be a long time if my body is attempting to get to a 28 day cycle.
When do people think I should start using opks from? I have yet to actually have a positive and know when/if I have ovulated
P.S as for sex pandas....in my relationship that would be me..not good for ttc0 -

It is absolutely lashing with rain here. Suits my mood as af is due tomorrow. Negative on all the tests and my temps are on a downward decline. Totally gutted as this was my only round of clomid and we had great timing. I had the strongest and earliest ovulation ever!!
Think it is time for me to move over to the 12+ thread.
Why are you only allowed one?
Do you think theyd give you more if you told them how well it had worked?
angeltreats - wow, a bbq already. It's still freezing, windy and wet here. That said, I do recall many times of my Dad being outside with a golf umberella cooking on the bbq
claire16c - I have visions of me outside stretching out whilst the neighbours watch with interest, then 60 seconds later, my run's all done :rotfl: You must be pleased though that you can get to 5 mins as I bet that seemed impossible when you first started - well done!
FF has OV for Fri, and we managed to squeeze a CD in last night before going off to sleep. It went something like this 'ok, let's get this show on the road' and 'no, no more talking, hurry up, I'm tired' 'seriously, no more talking' :rotfl: My temp went up this morning, so very glad we managed to get a BD in, or we might miss OV completely and we're not willing to write off a month. Wonder if we should try again tonight - what do you think?

haha!
hmm a bit hard to tell from your chart so perhaps try again if youve got the energy!
yeah I did used to sometimes run with DH around the block for a full ten mins and as that was all I could manage I felt so embarrassed thinking if a neighbour had seen me I had only left the house for 10 minutes, so c 2 5k is much better because youre out for 30! And the runs are spaced out with bits of walking.codemonkey wrote: »Claire good going on the running. Don't worry. The 25 minute run seems scary at first but it actually ends up feeling easier than the interval runs. You just start running and keep going and of you feel like you're going to die just slow down. I need to start this program again. I seem to be gaining weight at a superfast rate.
Feeling very glum today which is not helped by the weather - it's dull and rainy. Fairly certain we haven't done it this month.
Whats up with the weather for some of you guys! Its lovely and sunny and warmer again here today. Spring is really here now!
Yeah I feel a little like Im going to die at the 4.5 min mark right now so 25 seems very scary!
ov stick was practically blank today. cm dried up. I havent got a clue whats going on yet again.
However the clearblue monitor for the trial arrived the other day, so Im going to use that next cycle and I think I might book a drs appt.
Its so frustrating I know I can physically get pregnant so I feel that if I could just have a magic pill to make me ovulate on time, perhaps I would. Im just so annoyed that I finally got it to happen last year and then it all went wrong
So I think if Im not pg in next couple of months Im going to see what the dr thinks about clomid because Im sick of waiting and waiting.
catloverbex - thats hilarious about the opks and work! It makes me laugh with the whole, stop thinking about it and it will happen line. Its like thinking about stuff in your head, has nothing to do with the physical process of ovulation and sperm meeting the egg! And when people do 'relax and get pregnant' its just a bloody coincidence!0 -
Might have to slap my hubby, who after I ordered my CBFM has now decided he doesn't like "the idea of a machine" telling him when we need to BD! He thinks it'll take all the fun and spontaneity out of it....
To be far this month (where we've had a month off from ov tests etc, has been really nice and BDing when we WANT to has been much better, but I also know that without some kind of ov test etc, our chances of having a baby are not as good.
Men! (hes a secret sex panda too....)
Off to read up on new posts0 -
Hi Loulou, I have to confess that I mostly use my CBFM for my own info and don't really discuss it with DH so it doesn't add pressure to an already frustrating situation of ttc for sooooooooooooo long. Hope it works for you!0
