Big hugs to all you ladies xxx I wish I could be like twigpig and write an epic post but my memory is so carp I've already forgotten what I wanted to say!
I hope those who have doctors appointments either for themselves or their oh get the answers they want.
I'm loving the crafts ladies especially the Mario bros cross stitch that rules.
Hugs for those who are feeling frustrated with ttc it really sucks cos everyone else seems to make it look so easy!
I'm feeling pretty good atm cos I'm no longer at threat of redundancy as a lady in the office has requested voluntary huzzah!
Also got high on my cbfm this morning so was wondering when anyone else got their first high on the first month of use?
Hugs all round xx0 -

Nope Ive never had any tests Becca.
I think we tried for about 5/6 months, I had about 2/3 what Id call normal length cycles and then I had 2/3 very long ones.
Then I started a new job so we stopped for around 8 months. Within that time I had normal length and long cycles.
Then we got back to trying, I had one very long cycle, then a normal one - on which I got pregnant.
Then after the miscarriage I asked the gynae who discharged me about pcos as I have weird cycles and she said I had no cysts on my ovaries on the 12 week ultrasound so I couldnt have it.
Then she said it was probably because of my low weight - I am naturally slim but I had also lost weight due to morning sickness and then the upset and stress, and I could just tell when talking to her she just couldnt understand not everyone with a low bmi is an anorexic or something so I didnt bother to ask her much more.
She said dont exercise much (cue DH laughing) and said maybe I had hyperthroyidism and did I feel the cold, to which I said yes, plus she noted I had a high pulse.
My pulse in the hospital was around 120 and went up to 160 when I was crying. Now at home Ive taken it and its about 85/90 and only 140 when Ive been out running! That was just major stress. Plus I researched the thyroid thing and it turns out its not feeling cold, its having a fear of heat and I love hot weather. So I dont really believe much of anything she said to me.
Anyway she said as I had got pregnant keep trying and perhaps come back in a few months.
I feel quite confident in that I could get pregnant again, but IF I ovulate at a normal time. Which fair enough out of 3 cycles since the miscarriage I have twice, but then last month was weird, and this month seems kind of weird too.
I can cope with a long cycle if at least I know when Im ovulating. But having these sort of strong opks and then nothing, is doing my head in. Anyway Ive put on 8lbs since the mc so although my bmi is still just under 18 Im at a totally normal weight for myself now, so I just hope they dont ever ask me to get on the scales as thats when they assume its down to my weight when this IS a normal weight for me.
What did they ask you before you got the clomid becca?0 -

Hi there I'm still lurking here and just wanted to say that I think your gynae is mistaken. I was told you could have PCOS without all the symptoms (including cysts). I've had it for years and had many symptoms (in many ways I was a textbook case), but on some scans I've had no cysts at all. Only in recent years (over 20 years since PCOS was first diagnosed) have they seen cysts on a scan. I guess it might depend on when in your cycle they do a scan, but I don't think PCOS can be completely discounted under the circumstances. Hope you get a way forward soon.0 -

Thanks. Ive had other people tell me this on here too.
Plus from the other stuff she told me I could barely trust a word she was saying.
Which is why Im going to go to the drs soon.0 -
I'd definitely go to the drs sooner rather than later Claire it can take a while to get the ball rolling! XFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140
