Trying for a Baby Part 9

alice31 - The red crosshairs line will only shows once it's spotted that you've OV'd. So the 1-5 is your menstrual days. 6-14 would be your fertile days. I expect it's playing it safe suggesting so many days as it's not quite sure yet and it thinks that OV will happen somewhere 15-17 days. I'm pretty sure that my chart only showed my red lines about 4 days after OV last month. Too late to BD but good to know it's been and gone so you can 'rest' :rotfl: Hope that helps but ask more questions if you need to, there's plenty of us using the site. I'm quite a novice
Managed to load your chart and can see a red line there now. Expect it updated this morning for you
Yep, suddenly appeared after I input today's temp...still think I ov'd around cd11/12 though so will see how it goes! Thanks for keeping an eye on me!0 -

I'm not usually bad though as I've made loads of lovely Christmas cakes, melting moment biscuits, hundreds of chocolate brownies, cherry muffins, cup cakes, chocolate cherry cake and a lemon butter cake. My cherry bakewell cupcakes were amazing but I guess everyone has a disaster occasionally. Please PM me the recipe if you get a chance as my panda is a chocoholic. :j
Purcy81 - I got highs and peak readings on my first month of using my CBFM. I thought it was calibrating to my readings at first as I had ten days of highs, but then I got a peak on CD18 when I had stopped dtd days before thinking ovulation was around CD14. So it was useful in letting me know when ovulation was taking place and now I know to keep BD until the peaks arrive and go. However the next month I only had 3 highs before a peak on CD13, so a lot depends on what youre body is doing as mine occassionaly throws in a shorter cycle than my usual.
Tia86 - I'm no expert but ovulation is usually around 14 days before your period. If you are having cycles of approximately 40 days then it could be around CD26. Therefore it's up to you how many days before CD26 you want to start using your OPKs in order to see what the exact date is. Have you been temping to see when you have a temperature spike?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
FF has OV for Fri, and we managed to squeeze a CD in last night before going off to sleep. It went something like this 'ok, let's get this show on the road' and 'no, no more talking, hurry up, I'm tired' 'seriously, no more talking' :rotfl: My temp went up this morning, so very glad we managed to get a BD in, or we might miss OV completely and we're not willing to write off a month. Wonder if we should try again tonight - what do you think?

I'm obviously no expert at reading charts! However, can only be a good thing so keep at it0 -

Hell no!
This sounds amazing!!!0 -
Why are you only allowed one?
Do you think theyd give you more if you told them how well it had worked?
That doc gave me one round of clomid to see how I would respond to it but he has basically sent everything to the IVF clinic now and I have my assessment at the end of May. I have no future appointments with that doc so can't beg for more.
He said that 'technically' I didn't need it as I was ov'ing on my own even tho cycles are irregular but my day21 test shows progesterone is a little low (without clomid) so only one round of clomid and then off to IVF as if I don't get it soon I will be too old for the treatment in our area.
I suppose if IVF doesn't work I know that I respond well to clomid so its not all or nothing.0 -

Ah ok so youre mainly being referred for the IVF to ensure you get in at the right time, rather than being disallowed clomid? Thats good as like you say its something else to try if IVF didnt work.
God so many rules and regulations.
If they tell me to put on weight I will go mental because I would have to eat so unheathily it would be untrue. I just need to avoid any questions about weight or going near scales, as people always think I weigh more than I do. Im a size ten on the bottom for goodness sakes its not like Im tiny tiny. I must have very light bones or something!0 -
Claire, if they tell you to put on weight, I'll happily donate some of my fat to the cause.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

:rotfl:Have some of mine too Claire. I took DD to a toddlers group today and while I was in reception of the building a nurse came out of another room and said Are you here to see the midwife?!!?? Either she is Mystic Meg and knows that Monday's egg has been fertilised or I look like I'm having quads!!! Hmmm wonder which one it is......0 -
Congrats Optimistic-Mummy
Hugs amyloofoo though sounds good that you found someone to confide in who is in a similar situation, perhaps it will help having someone to talk to if you ever need to in real life
picklekin - hope the scan goes well
Impressed with the 3 nights in a row - haven't you just moved house as well?!?!
skaps - how frustrating, do you have to wait til then or is there a chance you might get a cancellation?
Mrs TM and Tinkwings - you are both so clever, great stuff you have both done
catloverbex - glad you discussed things with your OH and have come to a compromise, hope the conversation about the SA goes well. Sounds like you have a considerate doctor beginning to start getting tests arranged. Think I will have to head to boots and see if my local branch has any reduced clear blue opks.
As for me, I am on CD1. It seems my cycles are shortening by one day gone from 43 to 42 and this month 41. Going to be a long time if my body is attempting to get to a 28 day cycle.
When do people think I should start using opks from? I have yet to actually have a positive and know when/if I have ovulated
P.S as for sex pandas....in my relationship that would be me..not good for ttc
There is a chance of cancellation. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
To make a bad day worse AF started today so CD1 again for me.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
Sorry if this is TMI but I don't know where else to go for advice, I've got like a stringy discharge similar to what I get around ovulation but its 2 days before my period is due... any ideas?0
