I will go mad if they do. I used to weigh about half a stone more when I was a teenager & periods were exactly the same. My friends sister has an irregular cycle & she's the perfect size 12 so it annoys me when they pin everything on weight almost because its easier than investigating anything else. My old dr was the same size as me so she never looked at it, same with the midwife I had. Whereas my friend who is the same BMi as me, her midwife referred her to gp lead care & kept asking her husband if she ate food! Then she made her go for extra scans & in the end the hospital had to politely tell her to go away as it was a waste of both their and her time.

Anyway after days of weird temps I'm going to ring the docs today & make an appt as I don't feel like I'm going to ovulate anytime soon.

Hope you're feeling better that's horrible feeling sick like that!

Claire - see the Dr. I can emphasise - that you got pregnant and had it all snatched away Your body got pregnant once - it will do it again, but you maybe need some help. Not going to pretend that I know lots about ttc (You lot are so expert!) but surely getting stressed and hung up totally on it does not help? The Dr can at least settle your mind a little.
Twigpig - thanks for remembering everyone! - We are off to the coast for a long weekend. Weather forecast is sunny but cold (Im happy if its dry!) Will be nice to have a break with my family as had a torrid couple of months. Yep - I will be taking my bottle of rose to have a glass or 2 when the children are safely in bed!

Claire hope you get an appointment soon, I've been exactly the same weight for years and my dr said oh you can't have pcos as you're not overweight!!! Luckily I saw someone else after that. They should at least do some basic investigations xx

Sigh... think I might be having another weird cycle. Yesterday was CD17 which is normally ov day, but I've had no temp rise, no positive opk (and hardly even a hint of a line) and while I did have some ewcm it's all gone now.

I have an doctor's appointment today and am going to whinge and whinge until he agrees to investigate because this "oh we like to wait and see" business is just not helping.

Tasha, that cake sounds amazing! I'm not going to ask for the recipe though as a) I'm actually a useless baker and b) on the odd occassion my cakes come out well I just them so it's not good for me!

Glad you and your OH have come up with a plan catloverbex, even if you will be sneaking in OPKs at work and making sure that your 'spontaneous' BDs are actually well timed!

I agree that you should get yourself off to the GP Claire. Just keep making appointments to discuss your issues until they get fed up of seeing you! If you have no luck with one doctor, make an appointment to see another one.

AFM, got OH to BD last night. He did come home and asked if he 'had to do anything' whilst clinging to me so I got huffy with him and snapped that the only person I want to cuddle is a baby of my own! He felt suitably bad after that and did his duty.

A bit better. Had a horrid dream that I woke half an hour before the alarm where I was left/lost somewhere and couldn't get back (my biggest fear) and had a good long snuggle with DH for about an hour and a half this morning.

What are you in the process of stitching? Sorry if you said earlier, my mind is not quite all here!
