Twigpig, your BD conversation cracks me up. :) I did wonder whether other couples were like me and my sex panda sometimes. Monday night and I have a temperature; "I'm wondering whether we should have sex" "groan" "hey, that's not the proper response. You're meant to find me sexy and alluring" so no go. Last night I ovulated early and told him we had one chance, he's spralled on his back and says "I'm tired.....do with me what you will!". Lol.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Mrs TM - I remember making HM tortillas a few years ago, they were cheap and easy, although a bit delicate to fill. I don't have them often but I tend to buy them as I'm a lazy moo.... :)

Kynthia - Oh yeah, we have the same conversations, very amusing. Basically, the priority was to hurry up so we could both go to sleep, he he

katy29 - Teacake/TCD was looking for some help in setting up a blog. Maybe you could give her a hand...... :)

I've just told Oh not to tire himself out at work today so hopefully he'll be more interested in BD when he gets home! ;)

Can I come to your house for tortillas Mrs TM?! :) I'll have to check out that video tonight, love a bit of Victoria Wood! Can we see piccies of your cross stitch? I've just got into it, did a little butterfly as a practice last week and currently working on something that I thought would be quite simple but is actually quite complicated and annoying! Hoping to finish it tonight or tomorrow before starting on a big sampler!

The only boring/painful bit was the rolling them out. Our counters are a bit high for me (I'm 5'3") so using a rolling pin or kneading anything kills my back! I ended up eating 8 bean and cheese (only about 1/2 tsp cheese & maybe 1 tbsp beans each) burritos over the space of 3 hours for lunch and a cheese quesadilla! That's 10 of the 20 tortillas gone. I filled 8 with bean and cheese mix, then 'sealed' them in the dry frying pan so I can freeze or refrigerate them for later, and I'll probably make a cheese quesadilla for DH when he gets home. I need to teach him how to make them so I won't need to any more! 'Honey, can we please have fajitas tonight?' 'Only if you make more tortillas my dear. ;)' :rotfl:

You were typing at the same time as me!

Sure, come on over! I love having people over (much easier than going out, so long as you don't mind two tiny bunnies being around).

I taught myself how to cross stitch about 3-4 weeks ago by watching yt videos. I've quickly learned that if I'm using aida instead of waste canvas for stitching on clothes or fabric, I need to stitch looser!

Here's what I have so far:

Vest with duckie (I'm ever hopeful that we will soon have a little one to put in it!):

I don't have a photo of the one I'm currently working on, but I'll try to get one tonight.

Also, don't know if you have found it or not, but there's a cross stitch thread here! (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4529785)

Wow TM, you learnt that is 3-4weeks? I guess you must be naturally arty, how did you come up with the designs??

I'd love to be more crafty but I'm never as good in practice as I imagine I am in my head...

My Oh and I don't talk about BDing much as we are oddly shy about the issue, the other day I brought up if we could do it every 36 hours in my fertile week.. His response was "oh, like the Ashes?" :p (I got it explained to me that the ashes are every 18 months due to summer/winter difference with Australia!!!)

Wow they look great! Love the Mario and Yoshi ones, so cool! :) I'm trying to refrain from looking at the cross stitch thread as I know that I'll just end up with a massive backlog of projects to work on. :o

I don't really see myself as artsy. If I can see it, I can do it, but I can't pull things out of my head and onto paper (or in this case, fabric). Everything I've done so far has been from either google or Pinterest searches for "cross stitch." Add the words geeky, nerdy, or Nintendo at will! I have one of two pink birds, one holding flowers for the other that I want to put on a baby vest. DH and I met over twitter, so I'll be doing one bird in blue and the other in pink.

The things I'm doing on the vests I'm keeping gender neutral. That way, when we have a little one it won't matter, the designs will still work, or I can sell them. I've no clue how much I'd charge though, since I do it for fun.
