thriftylass - 1 BD is all it takes ;). I had some really bad spots last month around OV. Never had them that bad before. So far, doing ok as OV due in the next few days....... here's hoping anyway :)

ttc39 - Never tried WW, as I always thought I'd be starving as I had a big appetite, but now I've changed my outlook to portion size, I'd probably quite like it. I'd quite like to be a gym person as it makes you fit and not just slim and healthy is the main goal regardless of how slim you look, but I'm not quite brave enough for exercise...... yet :)

codemonkey - When your little one arrives in the near future, they'll be just beautiful, 6lbs or 13 lbs ;) One word for you though - epidural! :rotfl:

jammy26 - Hugs for AF. Go put the kettle on and have a big bar of choccie :)

alice31 - The red crosshairs line will only shows once it's spotted that you've OV'd. So the 1-5 is your menstrual days. 6-14 would be your fertile days. I expect it's playing it safe suggesting so many days as it's not quite sure yet and it thinks that OV will happen somewhere 15-17 days. I'm pretty sure that my chart only showed my red lines about 4 days after OV last month. Too late to BD but good to know it's been and gone so you can 'rest' :rotfl: Hope that helps but ask more questions if you need to, there's plenty of us using the site. I'm quite a novice :)
Managed to load your chart and can see a red line there now. Expect it updated this morning for you :)

optimistic-mummy - HUGE congrats. Here's to a happy and healthy and very very boring 9 months

chocoholic_chick - It's not over til the witch arrives. Sperm are great little soldiers and you just never know how long they've been 'partying' in there..... :)

faithope - make sure you bd tonight just incase youre ovulating today!

Argh!! Hubby is normally well up for it but he has been so knackered and stressed lately that we've missed a couple of days. Think I ov Monday. We did it Sat, missed Sun, did it Mon then missed Tues. Hope that's enough but not feeling too hopeful.....Was late on Monday night right enough so they should still have been swimming about on Tues.

Congrats Optomistic Mummy - hope you have a wonderful 9 months!

Becca - Fab amount of action :) Those triplets could be on their way soon.

I saw a baby scan on facebook yesterday. It was only the 12 week scan but it was so clear and the baby looked perfect. I actually love seeing things like that although it did make me cry.

    Congratulations Optimistic-mummy!!!

Spots nearly gone now, still look right blotchy though and my tummy is a bit dodgy too lately. But I think that's my body adjusting to exercise (cycle to work now every day and gym a few days) plus cutting down/stopping smoking

    Morning All,

It is absolutely lashing with rain here. Suits my mood as af is due tomorrow. Negative on all the tests and my temps are on a downward decline. Totally gutted as this was my only round of clomid and we had great timing. I had the strongest and earliest ovulation ever!!

Think it is time for me to move over to the 12+ thread.

I didn't get a chance to catch up earlier as had to nip out so back to reading up again from where I left off.... :)

angeltreats - wow, a bbq already. It's still freezing, windy and wet here. That said, I do recall many times of my Dad being outside with a golf umberella cooking on the bbq ;)

Tashatutuw - Sorry that your hip isn't playing along. Hope you enjoyed the cake, tee hee. Don't feel guilty, enjoy what you've had and then get back on the wagon. Everyone needs treats or life would be just dull! :) Got any scraps of cake left? :D

claire16c - I have visions of me outside stretching out whilst the neighbours watch with interest, then 60 seconds later, my run's all done :rotfl: You must be pleased though that you can get to 5 mins as I bet that seemed impossible when you first started - well done! :)

tinkwings - Hope you're doing ok.... and hats off to you both for twice a day! Once every other day already seems like a chore..... :D

amyloofoo - you post is so true. Many of us keep the ttc struggles to ourselves, so it's true that plenty of women around us are going through the same thing, putting on a brave face and hiding the heartache and you just don't know. No matter how hard or long the journey seems for us, there's always someone somewhere out there who's having it tougher.....

Kynthia - Glad you found some glasses that you like. Thanks for the tips on food. I've not made bolognese for a while so think I'll make that for next week. I love fish but rarely cook it home as hubby doesn't like it (well, unless it's cod in batter....... wish they would put back the rolling eyes smiley, it was my favourite, lol). He even hates the smells that go through the house..... I did have a rather yummy monkfish and prawn dish when I was out on Monday for dinner.... nom nom nom

alice31 - I'd have another BD just incase FF isn't quite right on the first month. Can't do any harm :D

Elsie37 - I've never had acupuncture, but hope you're feeling ok and it subsides soon :)

picklekin - I don't pay for my FF. From what I gather, the free one predicts OV based on your previous cycles info and the paid one gives you a prediction based on that actual months data. I personally haven't used the paid one, so it's not a good comparison, but right now, I have no intention of paying for it. I hope Friday comes quickly and the results don't take too long either. I know what you mean about finding something. Sometimes, once you have a diagnosis and a solution, everything seems more clear. Hope it all goes ok......

sophiasmum - Oh, agree that you need to use cheap HPT's before using a digi or it gets very expensive. That reminds me that I need a couple of digi's for the bathroom cabinet 'just incase'. Is Amazon the cheapest these days ladies?
I hope your eye clears up quickly, are you off somewhere nice for the weekend? We're away this weekend, but just to Glasgow to visit some family, not exactly relaxing or holiday-like....

    cwtw - kajungas! :T
Feel like I'm playing bingo every time I spot this being used :rotfl: The 2 week wait just seems to drag, doesn't it. You wait for OV, then you wait for AF. Spend all month waiting for something, then all going well you'll get to wait 9 months! Here's hoping anyway ;)

becca0417 - wow, 3 nights in a row in pretty unheard of in our house. Not even sure we managed that on our honeymoon! :rotfl:

Birdie85 - So you now know hubby can't be making the choice, you're back to being the boss :rotfl: It's true, you do feel better knowing that other people are struggling too. At least you don't feel like the odd one out....We're all odd! :)

thriftylass - well done on the cutting down smoking as well as the exercise kick.... I bet that's just as hard if not harder than trying to lose weight.......

    BabyMad - I'm hoping that you've wasted the £25 too :D

firefly369 - Aw, I'm still hoping there's a little hope in there and that AF doesn't arrive. Hope you'll still pop in and see us if you're posting over on the 12 month thread too..... :)

FF has OV for Fri, and we managed to squeeze a CD in last night before going off to sleep. It went something like this 'ok, let's get this show on the road' and 'no, no more talking, hurry up, I'm tired' 'seriously, no more talking' :rotfl: My temp went up this morning, so very glad we managed to get a BD in, or we might miss OV completely and we're not willing to write off a month. Wonder if we should try again tonight - what do you think?

Claire good going on the running. Don't worry. The 25 minute run seems scary at first but it actually ends up feeling easier than the interval runs. You just start running and keep going and of you feel like you're going to die just slow down. I need to start this program again. I seem to be gaining weight at a superfast rate.

Feeling very glum today which is not helped by the weather - it's dull and rainy. Fairly certain we haven't done it this month.

hey! sorry I keep disappearing for days at a time. Work keeps sending me away and things have been chaos at home and I 'm trying to set up a blog so been writing loads on that.

I had lots of ewcm yesterday and a bit today so we will be bding tonight.

I don't know much else about the girl in my office. All I know is that she is waiting for her first appointment with a specialist.

Did any of you see on the news about that 21 year old in lowestoft who fell off a car park killing herself and her unborn child and then the police found her 3 babies at home all dead too. That poor lady must have been going through hell if she thought that was the only way out. Just so sad x

Completely off topic, but I just made half a batch of homemade tortillas and I will honestly never buy tortillas again. What I made costed under £1 and it made 20 tortillas! Made half a batch of "refried" beans in the slow cooker last night and shredded some cheese and finely chopped a shallot for them too. You can guess what my lunch was! There are 6 fewer tortillas... oops! :o

Anyway, back on topic - Katy - I saw that story as soon as it broke on twitter. DH is from Lowestoft and actually called his grandad to make sure that it wasn't anyone he knew.

Optimistic-Mummy - Congrats! Spread some of that sticky baby dust over our way (and extra towards Becca! :rotfl:)

DH was sitting beside me this morning as I scrolled through the thread and saw someone mention their DH being a sex panda. He found a song entitled "let's do it" by Victoria Wood on YT for me to see. It's hilarious and I can imagine guys doing most of the things in it!

I'm still a bit crazy with the cross stitch stuffs. I have a mario theme 3 section bit framed, a cat that I need to send to my friend for her contest, and a onesie/vest for a little one with a duckie on it. I'm already working on a piece to be framed that has four NES characters in the corners and says "Home is where the [NES controller] is"

As far as tracking or keeping up with stuff this month, I'm not bothering with it. If it happens this month, then yay, if not, I can track everything to my hearts delight next month for the CB trial thingie.
